In school they taught us to be quiet, sit still, be meek, and not question things, like “good little boys and girls”
As a society we expect people to act and live a certain way we have programmed in our heads.
And when they don’t, the majority of people get uncomfortable.
Your success will make people uncomfortable.
People will see you move different and see your success and treat it one of three ways.
They are inspired by your success.
Very few people will actually be inspired and happy for you. Sad fact of life but it’s true.
They are jealous of your success.
This is where you’ll find most people. They will be very jealous that your successful and they aren’t.
They are intimidated by your success.
Success itself is intimidating and when someone obtains it, they obtain its intimidation along with it.
The more you focus on becoming a higher version of yourself, the more it will alienate those around you in one way or another.
Most people won’t work on themselves and when you work on yourself you’re a reflection of what they didn’t do.
It’s our job to pursue greatness and make agents of average uncomfortable.
We have an opportunity to be examples of winning and the public chooses how they process our wins.
Take this opportunity to win, run the score up, and win some more.
People will always find a reason to hate on you. Make sure you win so much they have reasons to be mad (at themselves)
