I’ve been praying this over and over lately:

God, strip away anything in me that keeps me from fully becoming who You created me to be.

And honestly? It hasn’t been a comfortable prayer.

Because for so long, fear of man kept me small.

What will they think?
What if I’m too bold?
What if I get it wrong?
What if people don’t understand?

And I know I’m not the only Christian woman who has wrestled with this.

We feel God calling us to build.
Lead.
Speak.
Create.
Step into rooms we don’t feel qualified for.

And then fear convinces us that shrinking is somehow safer—or even more godly.

But lately, I feel like God is calling women out of that.

Not into striving. Not into proving. Into surrender.

Because the truest version of you isn’t the woman performing for approval.

It’s the woman so rooted in who God says she is that she’s willing to boldly obey Him—even when other people don’t understand the assignment.

And THAT is the heart behind Called to Rise.

I believe God is raising up women who are done building for applause.

Women who aren’t chasing the world’s definition of success.

Women willing to surrender their businesses, gifts, influence, ideas and leadership back to Him and say:

Use ALL of it for Your Kingdom.

Maybe rising doesn’t mean becoming louder.

Maybe it means becoming so surrendered that fear no longer gets to decide how far you’ll go.

So here’s the prayer I’m carrying over this community:

God, remove everything keeping us small. Make us bold enough to obey You. And teach us to steward every gift You’ve placed inside of us for Your glory.

No more shrinking.

No more letting fear of man have the final word.

We’re Called to Rise. 🤍

Fear will make you hesitate on steps God already cleared for you. 🙏

I know this feeling personally.

You have the idea. You feel the nudge. God has literally been whispering it to you for months. And you still haven’t moved.

Not because you don’t believe in the vision but because you’re trying to figure out how it’s all going to work before you take the first step.

But here’s what I’ve learned the hard way:

God doesn’t give you the full map before you move. He gives you the next step. And when you take it, He gives you the one after that.

If He placed the vision in your heart, He already accounted for the obstacles. The timing. The provision. Even the things you cannot yet see.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You don’t have to predict the outcome.
You just have to take the step.

Your steps are covered. Your path is protected. Walk forward like you actually believe God already went ahead of you.

Because He did. 🤍

Not everything that grows fast… lasts.

And if we’re honest… a lot of us have been chasing speed.

Quick results.
Quick money.
Quick validation that what we’re doing is “working.”

But fast doesn’t always mean fruitful. And just because something is growing… doesn’t mean God is in it.

That’s the part no one wants to talk about.

Because building slow?
Being intentional?
Saying no to things that look good but aren’t God-led?

It doesn’t feel exciting in the moment.

But the Proverbs 31 woman didn’t rush.

She considered.
She invested.
She planted something that would produce long-term fruit.

And that’s the question for you right now:

Are you building something that can actually be sustained… or something that just looks good right now?

Because what you’re planting in this season: your time, your energy, your yes’s…. you will live in later.

So maybe it’s time to slow down.
To seek God before you move.
To stop chasing what’s fast…

and start building what He can actually bless.
