You made the list. You got everything out of your head. Maybe you even organized it, rewrote it, color-coded it, or put it neatly into your planner.
So...why are all those things still sitting there?
Sometimes I think we expect WAY too much from our lists. We expect them to help us remember everything, tell us what to do first, somehow motivate us to start, and ultimately make us more productive.
But what if the list is already doing its job?
That's what we're talking about on this week's Friday Chit Chat. There's a big difference between capturing the work, managing the list, and actually working the list, and buying a different planner, rewriting the list, or moving the same task to tomorrow isn't always the answer.
The tool can support the practice. The tool can't replace the practice.
And if the place where you tend to get stuck is somewhere between “Here's everything I need to do” and “Here's what I'm actually going to do about it,” that's exactly what we're going to practice together during my FREE two-day Brain Dump to Breakthrough workshop on September 26–27.

But first, grab your tea and hang out with me for this week's Friday Chit Chat. We're talking about why your list might not be the problem after all.
