Truthy. I recall my mom yelling, "Turn that down, it's just a bunch of noise." And don't get her started about the Doors' "The End." I pretty much agree on parents' music. Mom liked show tunes, the Three Suns, Al Martino et al. We did have Bing's Xmas LP, which still brings back warm memories.

Part-time job opportunity: a friend has qualified to have an aide 9 hours a week to help him with laundry, light cleaning, emptying the trash, helping him sort through storage, etc. Pays $17/hour from New York State. He'd like to find someone he can trust before simply requesting an aide, and that is acceptable for this program. Location is in Fairport. One of my favorite radio bloopers, from WCMF. While I did the morning show, the overnight program was hosted by the late, lamented, and lively legend Unkle Roger McCall. Unk. He used to walk home and there were some snarky dogs around during the first part of his walk, so he had a stick he carried. During my first break, I noted, "Unk has left the building and is heading home. He's got his good stick with him so he can beat off dogs."
