Memorial Day is a time to remember the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Today, we honor 2nd Lt. Jimmy L. Escalle, a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot who became missing in action during the Korean War. His nephew, Jim Escalle, published his inspiring story with BookBaby.

"Unforgotten Hero" is a moving account of the Korean War at large and Jimmy's journey towards becoming a fighter pilot. He paid the highest price for freedom when he disappeared on a combat mission over North Korea and was never seen or heard from again.
