Meet Erin!

Erin Rosenblum, MFT, is a licensed cognitive behavioral therapist and a children's book author. Her series, "Peanut Butter and Donner", teaches young readers to identify and express big feelings in a healthy and constructive way. Her books draw real-life inspiration from her pet bunny, Peanut Butter, and parakeet, Donner (who makes a precious appearance in this video) along with her 15+ years of professional training.

We're honored to help authors of all ages become self-published! Eighth-grader Avery Schmidt used BookBaby to self-publish her debut novel "The New House." This spooky release is perfectly timed for the fall season, as the story follows two sisters who unknowingly move into a haunted house.

Creating the perfect book cover takes time... but how much time?

In self-publishing, most book cover projects go through two to three rounds of revisions before reaching final approval. The first proof typically establishes the overall direction, imagery, typography, and layout, while subsequent revisions are more about refining details like color palette choices and editorial changes. By the second or third round, most authors feel confident that the design reflects both their vision and the intended market for their book.
