A lot is happening around Perrysburg! Check out this week’s updates ⬇️
Construction crews will be especially active across Perrysburg next week as work continues on four major infrastructure projects. Here's what you can expect:
🚧 Downtown Revitalization Project – Phase 2 – Crews completed underdrain installation behind the new curb, installed electrical conduit and pull boxes throughout the 100 block, and rough graded the stone base for the new sidewalk. The Department of Public Utilities also coordinated conduit installation near the existing sanitary sewer in the 200 block to keep construction moving safely and efficiently. Next week: Electrical work will continue in the 100 block, and several sidewalk sections at East Second Street and Front Street will be temporarily replaced with stone to maintain pedestrian access.
🚧 Coe Court & Fort Meigs Road Traffic Signal Improvements – Construction is scheduled to begin during the first week of August. Initial work will include installing the signal foundations and underground infrastructure, with the new signal expected to be ready for FirstEnergy to energize by late September.
🚧 Fort Meigs Road Ditch Improvement Project – The contractor continues working in a narrower section of Fort Meigs Road, requiring periodic traffic stops while equipment occupies the northbound lane. If you're traveling through the area, expect occasional delays, slow down, and follow directions from flaggers.
🚧 SR 25 (North Dixie Highway) Multi-Use Path Project – Drainage improvements continued this week, and crews also began removing the existing sidewalk along the project corridor. Next week: Remaining drainage work, sidewalk removal, excavation, and placement of the stone base for the new multi-use path will continue, along with adjustments and replacements of utility pull boxes.
