💵 Dollar Jam

Received a text that the machine was not accepting dollar bills. Here you will see me removing a bill from the acceptor and testing myself , I then take off the bill acceptor and there you see the jammed dollar 💵🤑 simply remove and back to normal operating machine 😊Don’t forget to test functionality before leaving the location 😊

How does this happen ?
- crumbled/ crinkled bills
- Wet/Moist bills
- Sticky Bills
- Ripped bills
And even sometimes nothing at all just a machine being a machine 😊

Building relationships is very important in the vending industry.

1. Helps you to acquire locations (ALL of my locations were acquired through Pre-existing relationships / connections).
2. Makes communication easier with those in charge at locations ( they also look out for you when inventory going faster than usual / needs to be restocked prior to your normal servicing )
3. Being personable goes a long way. You can help others throughout your journey, and with a good connection they may tell others about the service you provide

Good Morning tip💕

Here we have your bill acceptor which is responsible for collecting and storing your dollars. Important WHY?

Sometimes dollars get jammed (photo to the right) and when doing so, it’s shuts down the machine, not allowing customers to purchase leading to a loss in sales for you ☹️.

1. Dollars may get jammed if they are sticky, wet, too crumbled, etc.

2. Remove the bill acceptor from the machine , check the back and you may find what is here in the photo as your issue.

3. Keep the inside of the line clean of any buildup that may occur over time to decrease this occurrence.

The Vending Chic Scholarship 💕 meet .__ my first scholarship recipient 🥳👩🏾‍🏫 . A Philadelphia Young Lady who literally turned nothing into SOMETHING. It was a pleasure to meet Destiny and she is DEFINITELY destined for greatness. As her story begin to trend, I couldn’t help but realize that she was a former resident at one of my vending locations😱. She has Dreams to attend Spelmen College. There is VERY little funding for youth in the Foster Care System, on top of being an out of state student. Destiny’s story hits close to home for many others, including myself who was once in the Foster Care System, which is why I chose to begin my vending scholarship journey with her as the recipient.
