Want to tidy up quick? Believe it or not, one hour of tidying really can make a world of difference.
Choose a room, any room! Grab a trash bag, a rag or wipes, open your favorite music app and get this party started!
Clear any trash (5 mins):
-grab your trash bag and start tossing useless items from your dressers, shelves, vanity, TV stand, night stands, etc.
Remove any floor clutter (10 mins):
-whatever is on the floor, put it into it's respectful places (closet, laundry basket, jewelry box, trash, etc.) If it belongs in another room, start a pile so that you can grab them all at once and take them out of the room when you are done.
Wipe down all surfaces (15 mins):
-Once you have minimized the clutter, wipe down the surfaces of your furniture and anything that collects dust (perfume/lotion bottles, clocks, books, lamps, etc).
Simplify the space (20 mins):
-Re-assess your home decor and accessories. Do you need all of those pillows? Are your accessories enhancing the space or just taking up space? Can you live with one less shelf? Only keep things on your nightstand that you absolutely need for the night.
Vacuum (or sweep) Away: Now you're in the homestretch!
-Don't skimp on the floor. Make sure to get those corners and around the base of your furniture.
Last, but not least, stand back and admire your work😍
