🌮🔥 Cinco de Mayo at Weber = tacos, sunshine, and a great team

We celebrated today with El Toro Serrano, a Philadelphia-acclaimed food truck serving up authentic, homemade Mexican food right outside our doors.

From fresh guac & chips to tacos (steak, shrimp, chicken, and vegan chorizo 🌱), it was a well-earned break and a great way to bring everyone together.

Appreciate the team—and the tacos. 🙌

🎉 Raffle Winners Announced — And What a Result! 🎉

Over the past two weeks, our team came together for a great cause—and had some fun along the way.
Thanks to everyone who participated, we raised $820 through raffle ticket sales, and with the company match, that brings the total to an incredible $1,640 raised 👏

All proceeds support Team Weber’s efforts for the Eagles Autism Foundation—helping fund innovative research and meaningful programs for the autism community.

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets, participated, and helped make this such a success. Proud to be part of a team that shows up for each other and the community. 💙

We’re excited to share an update on the What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® contest!

The student team who visited Weber Display & Packaging was recognized at last week’s regional awards ceremony, taking home the “Most Creative” award 🎉

While they didn’t advance to the state competition, this recognition is a huge accomplishment and a true reflection of the creativity, effort, and teamwork they brought to their project.

We’re incredibly proud to have been part of their journey—giving students a behind-the-scenes look at manufacturing and watching them bring their ideas to life through video storytelling.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and everyone involved in making this program such a meaningful experience. The future is bright with talent like this!

Big things are coming to Philadelphia this summer!

Weber Display & Packaging is proud to support the official announcement of the Block Party Bonanza—a citywide effort elevating 250 block parties to neighborhoods across Philadelphia in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

As part of this initiative, Weber will be donating custom corrugated boxes used for the “Life, Liberty, and Happiness” kits—filled with decorations, games, and supplies to help bring each celebration to life. In collaboration, VT Group Digital Impact is donating the printing plates used to produce the graphics featured on the boxes, helping bring these kits to life.

The kickoff event offered a preview of what’s to come, and we were honored to have members of our leadership and ownership group on-site helping present the boxes that will soon be part of celebrations across the city.

“At Weber, we believe packaging can do more than deliver products—it can help deliver experiences,” said Jim Doherty. “Being part of something that brings people together across every neighborhood is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Here’s to community, connection, and a summer to remember!

It’s that time again… the Weber Employee Counting Contest is back!

Every year we challenge our team with a classic “guess the count” contest using a jar filled with product. Last year was the first time we used a customer’s product with Peeps, and it quickly became a favorite around the shop.

This year’s challenge? SMARTIES®!

Thanks to the team at Smarties® for helping us bring a little extra fun (and sugar!) to the shop floor. Weber employees are putting their best guesses in to see how many Smarties are in the bin.

The employee who guesses the correct number — or comes closest — wins a pretty sweet prize:

⚾ Phillies tickets + a free PTO day!

Stay tuned to see who comes closest to the correct count! Or drop your guess in the comments!

🏆🔥 10th (Almost) Annual Weber Wing Bowl = DONE🔥🏆

Huge THANK YOU to our amazing local wing vendors for showing up and bringing the heat — you made today a legit showdown. 🙌🍗

🍗 Byrne’s Tavern
🍗 Golden Nugget Tavern
🍗 SliCE
🍗 Holy City Publick House
🍗 Renzis Pizzeria

And an even bigger shoutout to our team for jumping in, voting, and bringing the energy (and impressive levels of sauce bravery). Events like this are a great reminder that it’s the people that make our place special.

Congrats to today’s fan-favorite winner 🥇Renzi's Pizzeria!!!!

Until next year’s rematch… our team will be recovering from eating nearly 4,000 wings (and definitely still arguing about sauces). 😅

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming an incredible group of students to Weber Display & Packaging as part of the What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® video contest.

Pictured here are the students on the day of filming—geared up in Weber hats—alongside Kelly Hynes, Human Resources Director at Weber, during their visit to our facility.

Through this program, students get an inside look at real manufacturing environments—learning how products are made, how teams collaborate, and how creativity, technology, and problem-solving come together on the shop floor. During their visit, the students filmed, asked thoughtful questions, and explored what makes modern manufacturing such an exciting and rewarding career path.

We’re proud to participate alongside the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC) in supporting this program, which helps build awareness of manufacturing careers while giving students hands-on experience in media, marketing, and STEM fields.

Stay tuned!
The students’ video will be released soon—and we’ll be sharing details on how you can vote and support their hard work.
