HOW VETERANS CAN RECEIVE ALL THEIR HEALTH CARE IF THEY SERVED AT CAMP LEJEUNE

As a part of the Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012, qualifying Veterans can receive all their health care (except dental care) from VA if they served on active duty at Camp Lejeune for at least 30 days between August 1, 1953 and December 31, 1987, even if they don’t have a health condition that is presumed to be related to exposure. For individuals with one of the medical conditions presumed to be related to exposure, there is no charge for care. For other health conditions, Veterans will have a co-pay, depending on income and health eligibility priority category.

Presumptive conditions for Camp Lejeune

VA has established a presumptive service connection for Veterans, Reservists, and National Guard members exposed to contaminants in the water supply at Camp Lejeune from August 1, 1953 through December 31, 1987 who later developed one of the following eight diseases:
-Adult leukemia
-Aplastic anemia and other myelodysplastic syndromes
-Bladder cancer
-Kidney cancer
-Liver cancer
-Multiple myeloma
-Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
-Parkinson's disease

CONSIDER A CLAIM IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE CAMP LEJUENE-RELATED ILLNESSES

Veterans and their families who lived or worked at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina could be in line for significant compensation based on their ill health linked to contaminated water from the site.

If you or your family were located at Camp Lejuene for at least 30 days between 1953 and 1987 and you are now unwell with cancers, then you may qualify to file a Camp Lejeune water contamination claim.
This is because two water wells were contaminated with toxic chemicals at Camp Lejeune. These wells supplied contaminated drinking water to children at daycare or school, military families for drinking and bathing, patients in the hospital, and service members and civilian workers.

While these wells have been closed for over three decades, they continue impacting veterans and their families through ill-health to varying degrees.
Exposure to the contaminants has led researchers to link at least 15 illnesses and medical conditions.

At this time, the Department of Veterans Affairs acknowledges the following forms of Camp Lejeune cancer: leukemia, oesophagal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
There are also related illnesses and conditions, such as reproductive problems, birth defects, and Parkinson's disease, with the Camp Lejeune water contamination.

According to research, veterans who lived and worked at Camp Lejeune between 1953 and 1987 were 10% more likely to die of cancer. They also faced a 35% higher risk for kidney cancer, a 42% higher risk for liver cancer, and a 47% higher risk for Hodgkin's lymphoma at Camp Lejeune.
Camp Lejeune Compensation Program (CLCP) is helping thousands of US military families get justice and compensation for the cancers and injuries linked to the contamination.

This has been primed by new federal legislation – the Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022 – being considered by Congress. It allows individuals to file lawsuits and recover damages for the harms stemming from exposure to the contaminated water.

The Camp Lejeune Justice Act gives families the right to file a claim for the first time against the U.S. Government. Filing a Camp Lejeune water contamination lawsuit is the only means you have to obtain the compensation you deserve for suffering, damages, and loss related to Camp Lejeune's cancer.

CLCP has some of America's most experienced personal injury and toxic chemical liability lawyers. That's why we explain the legal process, timeline, and potential outcomes. In short, the Program's team can get to the truth and make sure cases are settled wherever possible in the shortest possible time for maximum compensation.

HEALTH HORRORS OF CAMP LEJEUNE DEMAND JUSTICE AND COMPENSATION

Thousands of people put at risk from decades of contaminated drinking water from Camp Lejeune in North Carolina are being offered the opportunity to seek compensation for the health nightmares they may have experienced.
New federal legislation – the Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022 - now in Congress seeks to allow individuals to file lawsuits and recover damages for the harms stemming from exposure to contaminated water.

Between 1953 and 1987, two water wells were contaminated with toxic chemicals at Camp Lejeune. They have been closed for over three decades but continue impacting veterans and their families who once lived at the U.S. Marine Corps base.

These wells supplied contaminated drinking water to children at daycare or school, military families for drinking and bathing, patients in the hospital, and service members and civilian workers.
Exposure to the contaminants of perchloroethylene, trichloroethylene, benzene and vinyl chloride has led researchers to link at least 15 illnesses and medical conditions.
These include several types of cancer, reproductive problems, birth defects, and Parkinson's disease with the Camp Lejeune water contamination.

The Camp Lejeune Compensation Program (CLCP) is helping thousands of US military families across the country get justice and compensation for the cancers and injuries now linked to the water contamination.

While justice has been slow to come to those that seek it, access to medical care for Camp Lejeune water illnesses was granted to all Veterans for qualifying medical conditions in 2012.

But through the decades, victims of Camp Lejeune water contamination were prevented by law from filing a claim against the Marines and therefore had no recourse for their suffering. With the Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022 now in Congress, significant injustice is hoped to be reversed.

Anyone who lived in or around the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune for 30 days is likely to have ingested and bathed in the contaminated water, which may have led to significant Illnesses.
These complications mean you may qualify for the Camp Lejeune Compensation Program (CLCP).

The CLCP have some of the most experienced personal injury and toxic chemical liability lawyers in America. That's why we explain the legal process, timeline, and potential outcomes. In short, the Program's team can get to the truth and make sure cases settle wherever possible in the shortest possible time for maximum compensation.

THE WATER CONTAMINATION IMPACT AT CAMP LEJEUNE

Water wells contaminated with toxic chemicals at Camp Lejeune have been closed for more than three decades, but they continue to impact veterans and their families who once lived at the U.S. Marine Corps base in North Carolina.

Exposure to the contaminants perchloroethylene, trichloroethylene, benzene and vinyl chloride have caused different cancers, birth defects and other health problems for Camp Lejeune residents over the years.
However, new federal legislation making its way through Congress is looking to finally address those harms.

Already passed in the House of Representatives, the Camp Lejeune Justice Act of 2022 will allow individuals to file lawsuits and recover damages for the harms stemming from exposure to the contaminated water.

CAMP LEJEUNE WATER CONTAMINATION HEALTH ISSUES.

If you served at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune or Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River in North Carolina, you may have had contact with contaminants in the drinking water there. Scientific and medical evidence has shown an association between exposure to these contaminants during military service and development of certain diseases later on. If you have qualifying service at Camp Lejeune and a current diagnosis of one of the conditions listed below, you may be able to get disability benefits, if you meet all of the requirements.

If you served at Camp Lejeune or MCAS New River for at least 30 cumulative days from August 1953 through December 1987, and didn’t receive a dishonorable discharge when you separated from the military.

And you must have a diagnosis of one or more of these presumptive conditions:
Adult leukemia
Aplastic anemia and other myelodysplastic syndromes
Bladder cancer
Kidney cancer
Liver cancer
Multiple myeloma
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
Parkinson’s disease
