It’s wild.

I thought I had my life all figured out.

If you told me 5 years ago that I would have left my career, got an MBA, started a line of women’s golf apparel and be wearing it all over the place (including off the course) I would have said you lost your dang mind.

But here I am!

I am proof that the harder you work, the more you can grow. Proof that you don’t have to settle or remain uncomfortable. Proof that believing yourself will take you a long way.

Never doubt yourself. The road may have a lot of twists and turns and be overbearing at times but it’s your path. Yours.

Thanks for coming for the ride with me.

This whole look… sweater, pants, and shoes was under $150! And guess what? The pants will become your new favorite. Not only have I worn them multiple times (and washed / dried them) before sharing with you, I also have them in multiple colors. That’s how much I wear them.

A cute look doesn’t have to break the bank.

Since I’ve been budgeting the last few years after leaving my career to start a biz, I’m very aware of what I’m spending money on.

This dress was a summer find from Zara for under $100.
The shoes, also Zara, and also under $100.
The belt is about 10 years old from Banana Republic.
The bag, you guessed it, Zara under $60.
The flats, Target, under $40 in the spring.

Mixing and matching what you already have can be really fun and creative!

Don’t you love getting the spam emails every 5 seconds like…. “Who cleans your Philadelphia store? We can help!”

And I’m like… “We can’t even afford to pay ourselves but if you want to buy us a store, you can clean it!” 😂🙄😵‍💫

Building relationships, learning from other entrepreneurs, and hearing peoples stories…. both successes and pivots…. are such a big part of having a successful business.

I’m intentionally stepping into rooms where I can learn from people. I’m saying YES and listening. It’s that important.

So get ready with me for a business entrepreneur networking event!

Since I’m on a budget, I like to pair (really) old things in my closet with new staples.

The belt is like a dozen years old, the pants like 6-7 years old, and the top, shoes and bag are new and pretty reasonably priced.

I hope this sparks some closet creativity and inspiration to say yes to something new.
