Sometimes faith in action looks like setting one more place at the table.

Hospitality is not about having the perfect home, preparing an impressive meal, or waiting until everything is just right. It is about making room—for connection, conversation, and belonging.

A shared meal can communicate:

You are welcome here.
You are seen.
There is a place for you.

Someone around you may be navigating loneliness, transition, grief, or simply longing for genuine connection. Your invitation may become one of the ways they experience God’s love and remember that they are not alone.

Who can you invite to your table this week?

It could be a neighbor, a colleague, a young adult away from home, a family from church, or someone God has placed on your heart.

Set one more place.
Share a meal.
Make room for connection.

You do not need an elaborate plan—just an open heart and a willingness to welcome someone in.

“Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”
—Romans 12:13

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

We honor the lives lost, the heroes who answered, and the families who continue to carry their memory. May we never forget—and may God remain close to every broken heart. 🇺🇸

Empowerment begins where control ends.

Sometimes, our desire to help can become a habit of stepping in, solving every problem, and making every decision.

But when we do everything for others, we may unintentionally limit their opportunity to learn, grow, and lead.

Empowering leaders:

• Give authority—not just assignments
• Coach instead of immediately rescuing
• Allow room for mistakes and growth
• Celebrate initiative and ownership
• Trust others with meaningful responsibility

Empowerment does not mean removing accountability. It means setting clear expectations, offering support, and giving people the space to become capable and confident.

“To equip his people for works of service…” — Ephesians 4:12

Whether we are leading at work, in ministry, in our communities, or at home, our role is not to remain at the center of everything. It is to prepare others to carry the mission forward.

Click through this week’s Wednesday Leadership Wisdom and reflect:

Where might your control be limiting someone else’s growth?

Your greatest leadership legacy is who becomes capable because you led them.

You are not behind. God is preparing you for what’s ahead. ✨

It is easy to look at someone else’s progress and wonder why your own journey is taking longer. But God is not measuring your life against someone else’s timeline.

Waiting does not mean you have been forgotten. This season may be strengthening your character, deepening your faith, expanding your capacity, and preparing you to carry what you have been praying for.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart…” — Psalm 27:14

Keep showing up. Keep growing. Remain faithful to what God has placed before you today.

You are not late. You are not overlooked. God is still working—and when the time is right, you will understand why the preparation mattered. 💛

What do you believe God is developing in you during this season? Share below so we can encourage one another.

Sometimes faith in action begins with something as simple as making the call.

We have all experienced it—someone suddenly comes to mind, and we feel the need to reach out. Yet busyness takes over, and we tell ourselves, “I’ll call later.”

But that prompting may have a purpose.

The person on your heart may be feeling discouraged, carrying something silently, or simply needing to know they have not been forgotten. You do not need the perfect words or all the answers. Sometimes your willingness to call, listen, and pray is enough to remind them:

You are seen.
You matter.
You are not alone.

Who has God placed on your heart lately?

Do not postpone the moment.

Make the call.
Listen without rushing.
Pray with them.

Your simple act of obedience may become the encouragement they need today.

“Encourage one another and build each other up.”

Accountability is not punishment. It is an act of leadership.

Sometimes we avoid difficult conversations because we do not want to hurt the relationship, create tension, or be misunderstood. But silence does not always preserve peace. It can allow confusion, disappointment, and unhealthy patterns to grow.

Healthy accountability protects people, purpose, trust, and culture.

Strong leaders address what matters with both truth and care. They:

• Name the gap without attacking the person
• Return the conversation to the shared standard
• Listen before making assumptions
• Agree on a clear next step

Galatians 6:1 reminds us to restore others gently.

Gentleness does not mean ignoring what needs to be addressed. It means speaking the truth with humility, grace, and a genuine desire to help someone move forward.

Whether we are leading at work, in ministry, in our communities, or within our families, we must ask:

What conversation am I avoiding—and what could my silence be allowing?

Accountability is clarity, care, and courage in action.

The detour is not the end. God may be redirecting your steps. ✨

Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn. A door closes, a plan changes, or the path ahead no longer looks like the one we carefully prepared for.

In those moments, it is easy to believe we have lost our way. But what feels like a setback may actually be God’s protection, preparation, or redirection.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

You may not understand the new route yet, but you can trust the One guiding your steps. Stay faithful, remain open, and keep moving forward.

The road may look different than you expected, but God is still leading you. 💛

Has an unexpected detour ever moved your life in a better direction? Share your story below—it may encourage someone else today.

Forgiveness is not always easy—but it is one of the most powerful ways our faith becomes visible.

In friendships, misunderstandings, disappointments, and hurt can create distance between people who once walked closely together. Forgiveness does not mean pretending the pain never happened or ignoring the need for healthy boundaries. It means refusing to allow the hurt to have the final word.

Sometimes faith in action looks like choosing humility over pride, having the honest conversation, extending grace, or asking someone to forgive us.

Healing may not happen all at once—but it can begin with one faithful step.

Who do you need to forgive—or ask for forgiveness?

Pray. Reach out. Take one honest step toward healing. God can use your willingness to begin restoring what has been broken.

“Bear with each other and forgive one another… Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Trust is not built in one big moment. It grows over time through the consistent choices we make every day.

People notice when we:

• Show up present and prepared
• Follow through on what we promised
• Remain aligned with our values under pressure
• Acknowledge and repair the gap when we fall short

Consistency does not mean perfection. It means being dependable, accountable, and willing to make things right.

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” — Luke 16:10

Whether you are leading at work, at church, in your community, or within your family, your consistency is teaching others whether your words can be trusted.

What commitment needs your follow-through today?

Trust grows when our values are lived again and again.

Don’t quit in the middle. God is still working. ✨

The middle of the journey can be the hardest place to remain faithful.

You have come too far to turn back, but the breakthrough you have been praying for may not yet be visible. Progress feels slow. Weariness settles in. You begin to wonder whether your effort is making a difference.

It is.

“At the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

God is working even when you cannot see the results. Every prayer, every act of obedience, and every faithful step is preparing you for what comes next.

Keep trusting. Keep moving forward. The middle is not the end of your story. 💛
