Join me for a practical, empowering session on how to get the most out of your medical visits. We’ll cover how to prepare for appointments, ask clear questions, advocate for yourself, and leave feeling confident about your next steps.

I’ll be drawing on my background in Communication Studies, my work as a Standardized Patient training doctors in communication skills, and my experience as co-chair on the LVH–Pocono Patient & Family Advisory Council.

We’ll talk about:
• Getting organized before your appointment
• What to say (and ask!) during your visit
• How to handle misunderstandings or not feeling heard
• What to do afterward to stay on top of your care

This session is friendly, supportive, and judgment-free — because you are the expert on your own body, and you deserve to be listened to.

All are welcome! Let’s build confidence and take charge of our healthcare together.
