🔥 A Piece of NPVFC History on Display! 🚒

This is our 1975 American LaFrance 100-foot midship ladder, representing 50+ years of fire service history!
Recently, this classic piece of apparatus made the trip to Philadelphia for a Fire Expo, where it was proudly displayed for fellow firefighters and fire-service enthusiasts to enjoy.

Even better, the ALF remains within the NPVFC family today, as it is currently owned and cared for by one of our current members. It’s great to see a piece of our company’s history preserved and still connected to the people who serve NPVFC today.

There’s something special about keeping the history and traditions of the fire service alive.

Shawn has spent the past several months putting in the work every Sunday morning—training, learning, and logging the hours needed to become an approved driver. We’re proud of his accomplishment and appreciate his dedication to serving our community!

Ladder 62 and Engine 62-1 responded to a building fire in Lower Gwynedd this morning. Crews assisted with primary searches, ladder placement, establishing a water supply, and overhaul operations. After completing their assignments, crews assisted with cleanup before being released by command.

Yesterday, North Penn Volunteer Fire Company responded with Ladder 62 to assist at a working building fire on Andover Road in Lansdale.

Upon arrival, our crew immediately went to work, conducting primary searches, throwing ground ladders, checking for fire extension, and completing overhaul operations to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.

Our members remained on scene for approximately 4.5 hours before being released.

Crews were alerted to a building fire in Lower Gwynedd Township around 7 a.m. While they were en route, the assignment was reduced, and Ladder 62 was redirected to assist with an additional alarm system in the township.

This past weekend, we gathered for our 3rd Annual Reunion Picnic, celebrating the members who have helped shape our organization—past, present, and future.

It was a great day of reconnecting, recognizing outstanding service, and welcoming new faces into our family.
