People don’t get me... but I have practiced meditation since 1992, when I got hypnotized at Canyon Ranch, in Arizona. The hypnotherapist told me that I would not quack like a duck, but that the hypnosis would put my brain into such a deep relaxed state, that i would be able to Break Bad Habits..
At that time, I was giving my ex husband, Jeff, too much, of what I called, “Free Rent,” in my brain. He used to like to taunt me, long after we separated. It was very painful. I did not realize, at the time, that it was me allowing my mind to repeat the same old stories. My fault. My problem to fix.
I also ate Doritos EVERY day... like an addiction. When I went to Canyon Ranch, and the Hypnotherapist asked me, “What I would like to work on.” I said, “I would LOVE TO STOP giving my ex, free rent in my brain and I would LOVE to STOP eating Doritos.” The hypnosis was so peaceful, I still remember it.
Jeff stopped bothering me... (he may have never stopped his taunting, but he doesn’t bother me to this day 27 years later.) And I never touched another Dorito.

The hypnotherapist taught me that meditation puts your brain waves into the same waves that support the facilitation of a better life. And I have meditated almost every day of my life since then. Therefore, facilitating the growth and expansion of my life purpose. (Not to mention, how much meditation reduces stress, calms and heals the body AND gives you “visions,” and ideas of HOW to solve your problems, thus putting you on better paths and thereby reducing stress, because YOU TOO are then LIVING YOUR LIFE PURPOSE... where there is little stress.
