This washer’s tub had stopped turning after making a loud noise prior to the failure.

After diagnosing the issue, I found the drive belt shredded and tangled around the drive motor. I removed the damaged belt, cleared the debris from the motor, and inspected the actuator/mode shifter to make sure no additional damage had occurred. I then installed a new OEM belt and restored the washer to proper operation.

But the job didn’t end there.

While completing the repair, I pulled the washer forward to properly clean the debris from behind the unit and give both the washer and the surrounding area a little extra TLC.

That’s when I noticed the washer’s drain line was kinked—something that could have easily gone unnoticed and potentially led to drainage problems or water damage.

I brought it to the customer’s attention, corrected the drain line, cleaned the area behind the washer, and made sure everything was properly positioned before leaving.

It’s those extra details that can make a big difference and give our customers peace of mind.

A little behind the scenes of today’s refrigerator repair ❄️🔧

Sometimes repairs mean getting into the parts of your appliance you don’t normally see. Here’s our tech clearing the ice buildup from the evaporator so he can complete the repair and get the refrigerator cooling properly again.

Another Refrigerator Repair ❄️🔧

This refrigerator was experiencing intermittent cooling issues on the refrigerator side, and neither ice maker was making ice. During diagnosis, the refrigerator was also displaying an “FF” error code. We found the freezer evaporator was full of ice buildup, and the evaporator fan assembly was not running. The freezer evaporator was replaced to complete the repair. The condenser coils were also cleaned to begin a yearly preventative maintenance service.

Another issue diagnosed, repaired, and taken care of. This refrigerator is back up and running properly. ✅

Customer Complaint: Refrigerator not cooling. ❄️

Services Performed:

✅ Tested the refrigerator’s cooling and defrost system.
✅ Confirmed the defrost heater was operating properly.
✅ Identified a failed defrost bimetal as the cause of the cooling issue.
✅ Replaced the faulty defrost bimetal.
✅ Cleared the ice buildup from the evaporator.
✅ Reassembled the refrigerator and verified proper cooling operation.

This customer called because their 10 year old dryer was making a loud squeaking noise. After a thorough diagnosis, I found several worn components that were causing the issue.

Services Performed:

✔️ Replaced drum rollers
✔️ Replaced idler pulley
✔️ Installed new drive belt
✔️ Performed a complete internal dryer cleaning
✔️ Cleaned dryer vent to restore proper airflow and help reduce the risk of overheating

Many people assume an older appliance needs to be replaced, but that’s not always the case. Replacing worn parts and keeping up with routine maintenance can often extend the life of your appliance while improving its performance.

This customer’s dryer looked perfectly normal on the outside, but inside it was packed with years of lint buildup that was restricting airflow and creating a serious fire hazard.

After a complete internal cleaning, we:
