When I decided to remove the TV from my living room, people thought I was crazy.
I had so many people offer to buy me a new TV because they couldn't understand why anyone would choose not to have one in their living room.
What they didn't understand was that I wasn't getting rid of a TV.
I was creating space.
Space to read.
Space to paint.
Space to listen to music.
Space to think.
Space to create.
Space to become the person I was trying to grow into.
That little apartment became my favorite place I've ever lived as an adult.
I read more books.
Took more courses.
Created more ideas.
Had better conversations.
Expanded my capacity to serve more.
And it quietly launched me into the next chapter of my entrepreneurial journey.
Sometimes the decision everyone else questions is the exact one you need to make.
