💜 Supporting the homeless & veterans through the KII Foundation Crystal "Crys" Pedigo-Manzo | KII Strategic Solutions
Hi, I’m Crystal, Crys for short, Founder of KII Strategic Solutions—a faith-driven consulting and project management firm created to serve home health agencies, hospices, grou

p homes, and community-centered startups. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and insurance operations, I bring a rare combination of clinical, administrative, and payer-side insight to every project. My background spans Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans, prior authorizations, appeals, grievances, and claims review—giving me a 360° view of what it really takes to stay compliant, get paid, and operate efficiently. Through KII, I offer full-scope support from business formation to audit prep, EHR setup, project management, and facility readiness—with systems designed for both compliance and growth.

✨ My mission is simple: to be the hands and feet of Christ in business—offering clarity, structure, and compassion to organizations making a difference. Let’s build something that creates kingdom-level impact.

I want to speak to you the way I would if we were sitting across from each other in a boardroom.

Open conversation.
Honest dialogue.

Because there are things happening behind the scenes in your operations that you may or may not be fully aware of.

If I asked you to walk me through your workflows end-to-end…
Your systems
Your processes
Your documentation
Your reporting
Could you do it with complete visibility and confidence?

Not how it’s supposed to work.
But how it’s actually happening day to day.
Because most of the time, those things don’t match.

And that’s where the risk is.
That’s where inefficiency lives.
That’s where money is being lost.
That’s where teams start creating workarounds just to keep things moving.
And over time, that becomes your operating model.

Not because anyone intended it that way.
But because no one stopped to realign what’s actually happening.
And the reality is—
This doesn’t just exist in business.
It’s the same pattern we’re seeing in our communities.

Systems that were put in place with good intention…
But haven’t evolved with what people are actually facing today.
Overlapping resources.
Gaps in real support.
Solutions that don’t fully match the demand.
And when systems fail—people feel it.
In business, that looks like inefficiency, cost, and missed opportunity.

In society, it looks like instability, disconnection, and people falling through the cracks.

Different environments.
Same problem.
Things not working the way they should.
That’s why the work I do doesn’t stop at operations.

Because fixing systems in one place while ignoring them in another doesn’t solve the bigger issue.

The goal is alignment.
Across the board.
So systems actually support the people they were designed for.

If this is a conversation you need to have—
And you want a real look at what’s actually happening in your operations versus what you’re paying to work against—

There’s a lot of conversation right now about AI replacing people.

Especially in healthcare.

But from what I’ve seen, that’s not the real issue.

The problem isn’t too much technology.

It’s how disconnected everything already is.

Systems don’t match workflows.
Documentation doesn’t match ex*****on.
Reporting doesn’t reflect reality.

And now we’re layering AI on top of that?

AI isn’t the problem.

But it also isn’t the solution on its own.

If the structure underneath isn’t working, automation just makes the problem bigger, faster.

What AI can do — when it’s used correctly — is remove the friction.

Less manual work.
Less duplication.
Less time spent working around broken processes.

More time for actual care.
More time for people.

That’s where the balance is.

Not replacing human connection.

Supporting it.

And as I continue building in healthcare, this is something I’m paying close attention to.

Because the goal isn’t just efficiency.

It’s making sure the systems actually support the people using them.

If you’re looking at adding more tech into your operations, it’s worth asking if what’s already in place is actually working first.

04/22/2026

When I first started working in healthcare, I didn’t realize how much was actually being lost in the day-to-day flow.

Not just money—but time, follow-ups, missed steps, things falling through the cracks… and no one really seeing the full picture.

After 20+ years across healthcare, health insurance, and clinical operations, I’ve seen this play out more times than I can count—especially as agencies grow and things start moving faster than their systems can keep up.

It’s usually not a people problem… it’s a visibility problem.

Most agencies don’t actually have a clear A-to-Z view of how their process runs—from intake all the way through ongoing care and billing.

And when you can’t fully see it, it’s almost impossible to fix what’s not working.

I’m curious—

👉 If someone asked you to walk through your full process step-by-step today, would you feel confident doing it?

Or are there areas that feel a little unclear or inconsistent?

At some point, you have to stop asking:
“Do we need a better system?” “Do we need more people?”
And start asking a different question.
What is this actually costing us?
Because I’ve seen it over and over.
Teams doing work that shouldn’t exist Systems being paid for but barely used Manual tracking layered on top of tools that were supposed to eliminate it Processes that take twice as long as they should
And it becomes normal.
“This is just how it is.”
Until you actually look at it.
Time being spent in the wrong places Money going toward things that aren’t helping People working harder just to keep things moving
Not because anyone made a bad decision.
But because things changed…
And no one stopped to fix how everything works together.
That’s where the loss is.
Not always obvious.
But it’s there.
And it adds up faster than most people realize.
If you had to take a real look at your operations right now…
What’s actually working for you?
And what are you paying to work against you?

If you want a real breakdown of what’s going on behind the scenes, reach out.
I’ll take a look and tell you exactly what I see.

I don’t use buzzwords when I analyze a business.
I look at what’s actually happening.
Show me how your team is doing the work. Show me what your system is supposed to do. Show me what your reports say is happening.
Because most of the time, those three things don’t match.
That’s where the problems are.
I’ve seen:
Documentation that hasn’t been updated in years but is still being followed Processes that were changed but never fully implemented Systems that were updated but don’t reflect how people actually work Teams relying on Excel just to make things make sense, creating more noise
Busy work to no end.
People stay busy and think they’re on top of it.
And maybe you are…
Until there’s an audit Or something falls through the cracks.
So people adjust.
They add steps. They double check everything. They create workarounds just to get through the day.
And then the assumption is:
“We need a new system.” “We need more people.”
Most of the time, you don’t.
You need someone to look at what’s actually going on and fix what’s not lining up.
That’s what I do.
And the reason I do it goes beyond business.
I’ve always had a passion for serving people and fixing what’s broken.
Whether it’s in operations or in real life, the pattern is the same.
When things don’t work the way they should, people feel it.
That’s why this work also supports KIICC4Hope — a restoration ministry in progress focused on building stability and support for those who don’t have it.
Different environments.
Same problem.
Things not working the way they should.
If you’re dealing with workarounds just to keep things moving, there’s a reason.

❄️ Winter Drive Complete! Thank you Phoenix Community 🤝
I’m grateful to share that our Winter Drive has officially come to a close, and together, we collected 92 essential items to support individuals and families in our community.
This effort represents more than numbers. It represents dignity, care, and people being seen.
While I may not always be physically present in this season (toddler life 🙏), I am incredibly thankful for the partnerships that ensure every item collected is placed directly into the hands of those who need it most.
A heartfelt thank you to our distribution and street ministry partners, including: ✨ The Hope Center at Calvary ✨ Phoenix Rescue Mission ✨ And those serving our community daily behind the scenes
Because of you: ✔️ Donations are distributed with purpose ✔️ Nothing sits unused ✔️ Every item makes an impact
This is what real community looks like.
🌧️ As we move forward, our collection efforts continue:
Sleeping bags (collected year-round)
Rain gear & ponchos (current seasonal need)
We also collect seasonal items in advance to ensure we are always prepared when the need arises.
📌 Transparency & Growth Update We are currently 50% funded toward filing for our 501(c)(3) status, and we’re taking intentional steps to build this foundation the right way.
If you feel led to support this next phase, you can do so here: 👉 https://givebutter.com/PIBKID
Every contribution helps us continue serving with structure, sustainability, and long-term impact.
Together, we are not just meeting needs — we are building something lasting… one community at a time.

There is something we do not talk about enough.
At some point, we stopped seeing each other.
Not intentionally. Not all at once. But slowly.
We became more independent. More focused on our own responsibilities. More removed from what was happening around us.
And over time, community started to change.
There was a time when people looked out for each other.
When neighbors stepped in. When people helped rebuild after loss. When no one was meant to carry everything alone.
Somewhere along the way, that shifted.
Now we see people struggling, and it is easier to look away.
Not because we do not care. But because we have been conditioned to believe it is not ours to carry.
But what if it is?
What if the strength of a community is not measured by how well the strongest are doing, but by how we support those who are struggling?
What if the systems we rely on were never meant to replace community, but to support it?
KII Cornerstone Community is not just about creating housing.
It is about restoring something deeper.
Responsibility. Connection. Support.
Because we cannot continue to expect different outcomes if we are not willing to look at what has been lost along the way.
Where do you think we began to lose the sense of community responsibility?

03/31/2026

There are moments in life where you realize something deeper is calling you.
Not something loud. Not something forced. But something that stays with you.
For me, that has always been people.
The ones who feel overlooked. The ones who have been unheard. The ones who are doing their best to survive without stability.
KII Cornerstone Community was not created as an idea.
It was created from experience. From seeing what happens when there is no structure, no support, and no place to land.
This mission is not just about housing.
It is about restoring dignity. Creating stability. Building something that gives people a real opportunity to rebuild.
Right now, we are in the early stages.
Laying the foundation. Building the structure. Taking the steps needed to make this official and sustainable.
This is not overnight work.
But it is necessary work.
And it is work that will continue to move forward, one step at a time.
What systems do you think have continued to fail people in our communities over time?
And do you believe those systems have evolved as our communities have changed?

03/30/2026

Most businesses do not start with broken systems.
They start with something that works.
Over time, things get added.
New tools.
New processes.
New reporting requirements.
New ways of doing the same work.
And slowly, without realizing it, things stop lining up.
The system says one thing.
The process says another.
The team adapts in real time just to keep things moving.
Nothing is completely broken.
But everything feels heavier than it should.
More time.
More effort.
More second-guessing.
This is usually the point where people start looking for another tool or another hire.
But in many cases, the issue is not what is missing.
It is what is no longer aligned.
This is the work I do.
I review systems, processes, workflows, and reporting to identify where things are working together and where they are working against each other.
No added complexity.
No unnecessary layers.
Just clarity around what is actually happening and where adjustments need to be made.
If your operations feel heavier than they should, there is usually a reason.
I also believe in building something that goes beyond the business itself.
Every engagement supports something larger.
A portion of the work goes toward building KII Cornerstone Community, focused on creating real, lasting impact for those who have been overlooked.
So the work does not just improve operations.
It contributes to something meaningful.

03/26/2026

There is something I have not said out loud yet.
The work I do is not just about systems, processes, or operational alignment.
It is about people.
For a long time, I tried to move the mission forward first.
To build something that could support those who have been overlooked, unheard, and without stability.
But the truth is, the mission cannot move without structure behind it.
It cannot move without resources.
And right now, I do not have outside funding.
I do not have donations coming in.
And I am not in a position to carry it forward alone.
So I had to step back and ask a different question.
What is the sustainable way to build this?
The answer was not separate from my work.
It is my work.
Helping businesses create alignment, clarity, and structure is not just about efficiency.
It is about building something that works.
Something that lasts.
Something that creates stability.
Because the same breakdowns I see in business, misalignment, lack of structure, things not working together, I have seen those same patterns affect people’s lives.
KII Cornerstone Community exists to support our homeless neighbors.
But it will not be built on intention alone.
It will be built through structure, sustainability, and work that actually moves forward.
This agency is how that happens.
Not as a separate path.
But as the foundation that allows the mission to grow.
So when I talk about alignment, clarity, and structure, this is what it is connected to.
Not just better businesses.
But real impact.
