The Thumb of Michigan is home to 133 municipalities, 1,349 nonprofit organizations, 3,798 agricultural related businesses, and over 10,000 small businesses. Pretty amazing statistics for a region with about 100,000 people in 3 counties....lots of entrepreneurial and volunteer activity, and that is really what makes our region great. We are bootstrappers and hardworkers by nature and used to making do with fewer resources.

My goal with LEAP Grant Consulting is to help find additional grant funding so you can do the work that makes our area a wonderful place to live. Since most of you wear multiple hats and probably volunteer for at least 1 charity, serve on a public board or volunteer at a school or church, manage your business, raise your family and are busy sunrise to sunset, its hard to find the time to search for grant funding for the kids 4H Group or apply for grants for downtown revitalization. That's where my business comes in.

Can't say who or where yet, they want to do their own announcement, but finding funding for our local communities, businesses, farmers and small businesses is why I do what I do.
