Visiting the Washington Co. Agricultural Fair (a foodie’s dream)🎡🍟🍔

Last night was such a beautiful night to visit the Washington County Agricultural Fair. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to the county fair, but it was so much fun to relive the nostalgia of it all. Jourdan and I had a fun little date night out of it!

Best eats:
🍔 Burger & cheesesteak from U.P Canonsburg Church (inside food court)
🍟 Loaded BRICK of fries from Alice’s Rollin’ Restaurant (outside of the food court right near Spring House)
🍦Strawberry pretzel volcano and apple dumpling from The Spring House!
🍕 Pizza and caramel apples from Bentleyville Pizza (inside food court) - regular slice was better than the square
🍋 Lemonade & limeaid from The Rustic Lemonade Co.
🍿 Kettle Corn from the stand near the exit

Pro tip: use the park & ride at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum ($5 per person) and avoid the muddy parking lot at the fairgrounds 😊🚉

We were craving sushi the other night, so we went back to try Itamae again! Their menu ranges from Thai noodle dishes to Japanese specialties, not to mention their sushi is some of the best I’ve ever tried in the South Hills. Here’s what we tried this time:

🦀 Krab Rangoons - 10/10 new favorite of mine
🍣 Tuna Tataki
🍹 Thai Tea
🐟 Poke Nachos
🍜 Tonkotsu Ramen w/ Pork Belly
🐓 Chicken Katsu
🍣 Itamae Roll (w/ blue crab - SO GOOD)

🍌 Banana Tempura w/ vanilla ice cream

Amel’s (Amel's Restaurant) is one of my fav dinner spots in the South Hills. They have so many special menu items that I go to, and this French onion soup is one of them. Soup season is approaching, and I think yinz should give this one a try. Be sure to order some grape leaves too!!

Tell me your fav places to get French onion soup in Pittsburgh please because I’m on the hunt. Last year I had the most amazing French onion soup from Anthos and I’m praying they bring it back this year! 🤞🏼🧅

I decided to take a little rainy morning adventure to visit Needle & Bean (Needle&Bean). I had no idea this place existed until their dirt puddin’ latte popped up on my Instagram feed (and I needed THAT). I really loved the dirt puddin’ latte the most out of the two I tried.

The vinyl record selection was fun to look through too. I don’t have a record player, but they do sell them here. I was tempted to buy one. 🤔

I’m really glad I stumbled upon this cool little spot 💿☕️✨

Sarafino’s Homestyle Italian & Crafton Ice Cream = two foodie gems on our date night rotation 🍝🍦

Sarafino’s has my heart forever & ever. We went for a little dinner date night last week, and it was the perfect night to sit out on their patio. We ordered our usual greens & beans, and the hot honey pepperoni pizza (aka the Ana Eats pizza). Then we split the Rita’s pasta with meatballs….to dieeeeeeee for!

We took a walk down to Crafton Ice Cream for dessert (a walk was very much needed at this point). Jourdan got a milkshake that I forgot to film, and I got my fav strawberry & blue goo flavorburst cone. 10/10.

I’ll never shut up about the foodie gems like these in Crafton. If you’re looking for some dinner/dessert plans this week, this might just be what you need. 👀
