Just jumping on any bandwagon I can. The robots got it pretty accurate just switch my kids hair colors and age them a bit. Love seeing everyone’s cute cartoom versions!

This 2016 trend got me. This was a huge year of change. Started the year teaching 4th grade in Australia. Went on maternity leave six months later (am I still on it?!) and had my first baby in August. Traveled with her around Australia then back to Texas to meet all of the family members. All while blogging it all on my now defunct expat/travel blog (iykyk). Had to go way back on my personal feed because I don’t even have photos on my camera roll that old!

Leslie might be one of the busiest (and inspiring) women I know! A mom of 5, working multiple roles in higher education AND running her own reflexology business- she does it all. And until we worked together, she was doing it all with to do lists on scraps of paper and random notes in her phone. 📱

By the end of the VIP day, we had created one workspace with homes for all the different pieces of her busy life. She has recurring tasks set up to automatically remind her of things that need to be done, a place to store links and resources and also keep track of her clients. Now she has another tool in her toolkit to continue to grow her business, and I am grateful to have been a part of the process.

I took an accidental posting hiatus from this account all summer, and guess what happened?

📍I still worked with my regular retainer clients.
📍I didn’t book any new projects or VIP days.
📍I worked my schedule around home renovations and camp drop offs and pick ups.
✈️I traveled to Belize with my family (and left my laptop at home).
🦈I watched my kids snorkel for the first time with sharks!
🧳I flew to Texas with my kids and spent quality time with both sides of our family.
👯‍♀️I spent a weekend belly laughing with friends I’ve known for 25 years.
❤️I snuck away for date nights and work trips with my other half.

Not all seasons are for growth- some are for rest. But now I’m back, refreshed and ready to get back to doing what I love most- supporting small business owners! ☀️

So tell me, what did you do this summer?

It’s the first week of summer break and I am balancing client work and spending time with my family. Still managed to knock out my to do list and catch up with some local clients (thanks to grandparents in town). Camps officially start next week! ⛺️

April highs: travel to NYC and Florida, date nights and Easter celebrations at home

April lows: flight delays and cancellations, power outages all over Pittsburgh which caused no school for 3 days, lots of the work/mom balancing act 🙃

Can’t pass up a trend (actually I 100% can) but this one is too fun. I used up all my free chat gpt images trying to get ole chad to only give me one dog and still ended up with a second. Maybe it’s a sign? 🐕🐕 Two coffees is perfectly on brand though.
