What a day!!!! We received a proclamation from the Honorable Mayor Ed Gainey for EXPlore: Pittsburgh Tech Week🎉

From Google AI Accelerator at the Carnegie Library to conversations on sustainability in tech, the $10K Startup Showcase (congrats CLEF!), and a powerhouse panel with Audrey Russo, Jason White, Andrew Mitry, and Monica Malik Pittsburgh showed up!

We also dug into AI and work-life balance at CCAC and ended the night connecting at the Emerald City Pittsburgh Tech Mixer.

Today we keep the energy going with:

Per Scholas Pittsburgh Open House, explore no-cost tech training for career changers and future technologists.

Tech Pause @ The Ripple, where innovation meets restoration with saunas, cold plunges and hot tubs!! I definitely need this experience after a long amazing week and i hope to see you there!!

The panel discussion about financing your business is underway now, followed by the pitch competition where one team will receive $10,000 seed funding to bring their idea to life!

I hope to see you this week during EXPlore Pittsburgh Tech Week supporting the local businesses and organizations that have organized amazing content for this week!

Most events are free; Google AI Accelerator, and AWS workshops, AI and the Arts panels, Mark Cuban Keynote with The Global Impact Forum, Tech Mixers, Tech Pause, Pittsburgh Robotics Network Discovery Day, there's truly something for everyone including our kick off event, an evening with Steeler Legends with proceeds benefiting Café Momentum Pittsburgh

The Startup Showcase and Pitch Competition, features a panel with Audrey Russo of Pittsburgh Tech Council, Andrew Mitry of Google and Jason White of Chase moderated by Monica Malik of Monica Malik and Associates, they will share their thoughts on continuing to build a city where innovation, inclusion, and investment meet to unlock the next generation of companies, jobs, and opportunities. We will also be giving away 10k to a local startup!!!

Oh and if you're looking for co-working space during the week, we have guest passes for Workbox and OneValley!!! I urge you to visit the site to learn more there's so much more!
