Next Thursday we are running digital marketing back!

Before anybody talks to you, they look you up. Your brand is either getting you in the room or keeping you out of it, and your website is answering questions whether you wrote the answers or not. Darrin is covering that. Dr. Lesli is covering how people find you in the first place, from the listing that comes up when somebody Googles your business to the social media that turns a follower into a customer.

Vendor Highlight: Pete's Hot Dog Stand

Seasoned, steamed, then seared. Chili, cheese, onions, pickles, relish, built however you want it.

James Burke started in 2025 for a simple reason. He looked around the North Side, could not find a good hot dog shop, so he made one. He is also an Own Our Own graduate, which means he put in the work on the business side too.

You can usually find him at Suds and Subs in McKees Rocks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and across from Allegheny General on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On October 17 he will be with us.

Sometimes you do not need a whole program. You need one person to sit down, look at what you are building, and tell you the truth about it.

Our coaches do that. Pricing, payroll, the thing you have been avoiding in your books, the decision you keep putting off.

Pitch night is Thursday, October 29!

Academy 2.0 is our second level program, for owners who already launched and are building toward whatever comes next. At the end of it they stand up in front of a room and make their case.

If you have never watched somebody pitch a business they built from nothing, come see one.

Own Our Own is Bible Center Church. Helping somebody build something that feeds their family is the same work as everything else we do here.
