When you finally get some momentum going .... and then you hit a wall!! ARGGGGH! What do you do to keep going?

We all hit walls in our journey towards our ultimate goals and purpose. Don't let the walls stop you in your tracks.

Refocus on your vision.

Tap into those emotions in your gut that drive you forward. Tap into Your Purpose.

Evaluate the obstacle and then figure out another way around it.

If my Aunt Had Balls - she’d be my uncle …

That is one of my favorite sayings!

My mom and her sister … yes, my Aunt Mary (… and no balls …) used to say that to me when I would make excuses for not doing something by saying “what if.”

What if …. It doesn’t work? Or,

What if they don’t like me? Or

What if it’s a stupid idea? Or,

… well, you get the picture? … if my Aunt had balls, she’d be my uncle! And we’d all crack up!

But honestly, that saying would stop my self-doubts and limiting beliefs in their tracks because it made me realize -

You don’t know unless you try.

You can do it! TRY IT!

Refuel Often. Just like our body needs breaks - so does our mind.

Make sure to incorporate some form of relaxation every day where you can clear your mind of worries and stresses and just enjoy life.

Maybe it’s music, maybe it’s reading a fiction book or maybe it’s taking a walk.

Getting Clear on what you want to achieve in your business is a major cornerstone and it is necessary if you want to grow and scale your business.

How can you get somewhere if you don’t know where you are going or how you will get there?
Think of it like you are planning an awesome vacation.

When you first start to plan a vacation, if you are like me, you really dig in and research all the places you are interested in seeing. You learn as much about those places as you can - When is the best time to go? How do I get there? How long will it take the get there? What will it cost? Are there going to be obstacles in my way? How do I get around those obstacles and get to where I want to go so I can have the vacation of a lifetime?

Its the same in building your business:

First, Get Clear on where you want to go and what you want to achieve.
Second, identify the goals and steps (or pitstops if you will) that you need to accomplish in order to continue moving forward towards achieving your goals.

Third, get to travelling! Take the action needed to get you moving towards achieving your goals.
Fourth, when you get stuck or hit an obstacle. Don’t Quit! You wouldn’t quit a vacation! Simply, take a pause and re-align your actions with your goals.

Don’t get stuck at home!

Get Clear. Set goals. Plan it. Work It. Achieve It.

"I am not a quitter!" I sure do love me some SpongeBob SquarePants! .
Wow! Brings back some memories. Anyone else?
I remember when the boys were little and all 4 of us would pile on our small couch, laying across each other and we would watch Spongebob together!
Spongebob made us all laugh! But, this episode in particular had me laughing so hard I was crying.
The messages are priceless "When in Doubt - Pinky Out" "I am not a quitter!"
So, if you haven't this episode, Spongebob goes to visit Sandy Squirrel for the first time in her underwater home that has air! Spongebob is nervous. He has never been in air before ... But he really wants to visit with Sandy.
He and Patrick come up with an action to help Spongebob if he starts feeling like he is in trouble - to help remind him that he really wants to succeed - "Pinky Out"!
As the air starts drying Spongebob out and he begins to shrivel up, (hysterical, seriously) he struggles to remain calm. Patrick who is safe outside in the water, reminds Spongebob to put his "Pinky Out".
Spongebob lasts as long as he can before he is overcome with fear. He starts racing around the inside of Sandy's air tight home. Sandy jumps into action and quickly puts a helmet full of water over Spongebob's head!
With this new solution, Spongebob can now stay as long as he wants! Greatness!
Who knew we could learn something from Spongebob!
Be convicted to succeed. Find a resource or action that can help you stay focused on your vision. Use the people around you that can help! Push through, pivot if you need to, but don't quit!
If you are convicted to do something ... you will find a way!

What is holding you back from becoming who you are meant to be?
Is it that tiny voice ... who am I kidding ... that really loud and obnoxious voice ... that talks to you in your mind and says things like ... “that is a stupid idea” or “you aren’t qualified enough” or “no one is going to listen to you”.
You are not alone! Everyone hears those pesky voices. I battle those darn voices every time I try to step out of my comfort zone ... which if you know me ... is quite a lot! Even the biggest and most successful stars out there have these inner “Doubting Thomas” voices!
I call my voice Negative Nancy. And, Nancy can be a Real Bitch!
The trick is learning how to push those voices out of the way and break free to move forward to reach your full potential ...
We all have those self-limiting beliefs and thoughts playing tug of war in our minds – especially when we are about to do something scary.
But here is the thing, our brains don’t know the difference between a real life threat or a perceived one. Our brain’s job is to protect us. Our bodies react the same – throwing that “fight or flight” adrenaline into the mix even when we just THINK we are in danger!
But guess who is in charge of your brain? YOU ARE! You can retrain it! YOU are the one with the power to change those negative thoughts into positive thoughts ... it takes practice, but you can do it!
Fight Back! YOU are worth it! Break free of what is holding you back and become the person you are meant to be!!

What if Steve Jobs had never followed his dream and had never taken the actions?
Wow! What a different world we would live in.
Can you imagine the push back he was hearing from doubters that his ideas would never work? Not to mention the self-doubt that must have been swirling in his head.
What if he had listened to all the doubt and push-back?
STOP LISTENING TO THE DREAM CRUSHERS!
Have the courage and conviction in what you are doing to seek out the right people to help you reach your dreams.
Break free of what is holding you back ....
Is it fear?
Is it that you lack a clear vision?
Are you just chasing your tail in circles never accomplishing anything?
Is it that you don’t have a good solid plan of action?
Every dreamer needs help planting their feet on the ground. I should know ... I am one of those Dreamers. It is a constant battle for me to remain focused and clear on my vision and purpose.
It takes a village. It matters who you have around you as your “tribe”.
Get rid of the doubting Thomases and break free, follow your dreams, get clear, make a plan and take massive action .... YOU CAN DO IT!
