Unfortunately this is what a socalled professional did they damaged a pool deck with bleach . Don't fall for it this cost almost $6000 to the customer to " clean" now it's going to cost the customer 10s of thousands of dollars to restore the pool deck and front patio

Some "big" pressure washing companies use bleach to do their cleaning. This is the sure sign of an amateur . Even if they have the big fancy rigs on a trailer with extra water tanks and fancy looking equipment . They are amateurs there are specialized chemicals for different surface areas they don't use because it cost more than the bleach. Bleaching a sidewalk or driveway does not clean them it causes damage to them don't be fooled by the " big" companies. Hiring a professional to clean your surfaces is important. What is also important is that professionals inform you that cleaning the surfaces such as driveways is difficult and that some stains may only lighten because concrete is poris and those stains can seep deep into the concrete. Stains like oil for example are a very difficult stain and can only be lighted not completely eliminated due to the seeping factor . While algae stains are a little bit easier to remove if done correctly and with the correct removal pre treatment but again depending on how long that algae has been on the surface will depend on if the surface needs to be repainted after cleaning because excessive algae buildup eats house paint and will need to be repainted after the treatment . It is recommended that customers have monthly cleaning done to prevent algae buildup damage from occurring .
