A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Gaven Spencer on his HUGE win in the 2026 Maritime Throwdown finals! Gaven competed and earned his way into the finals with a score of 19 at the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival, he then went on to run a 13 at the finals! CONGRATULATIONS GAVEN!!!

The Theresa B went back to work Wednesday after completing the repairs and upgrades to her bow! Along with passing both her 1 year topside and 5 year hull USCG Sub M inspections! Great job to everyone involved!

Progress continues to be made on the Theresa B drydocking. We passed our 5 year USCG drydock inspection with ZERO issues! A huge congrats to the entire Businelle crew!
The front end repairs are coming along nicely and any bad metal was replaced and bracing has been added!

The Richard B crew is doing a great job as well keeping traffic moving through the locks. A huge thank you to those working hard to keep things moving!

5 year USCG drydock inspection and maintenance work has started on the Theresa B! All tanks/voids have been cleaned and she is ready for drydocking! That will take place in the coming days.
Along with the USCG inspection we are taking care of some much needed work during the downtime. This includes changing towknee bumpers, corner bumpers, and extending both bow corners down and adding lower bumpers to help protect the boat while building tow!
