Wonderful story about Norway’s King Harald V and MitoSense founder, Dr. Robert Elliott.

King Harald V of Norway was a good man, down to Earth and had a sense of humor.

I’ll never forget a number of years ago, both myself and the late American medical pioneer, Dr. Bob Elliott, were invited to have an after dinner drink with the King and discuss Dr. Elliott’s research.

Dr. Elliott began by saying, "Your majesty, as a little boy growing up in the Mississippi Delta, I could have never imagined I’d be meeting and having dinner with a King. As they say where I come from, I’m in high cotton tonight!"
King Harald, who actually went to grammar school in the U.S. after fleeing the N***s at an early age, responded, "Dr. Elliott, I know what high cotton is!" Everyone who heard it cracked up and the conversation was just getting started.

The University of Pittsburgh is leading the way in academia for space medicine.

We are honored to enter into a MOU with Pitt to advance mitochondrial transplantation and novel therapies targeting mitochondria dysfunction associated with space travel, aging, Long COVID and more.

Collaboration will evaluate mitochondrial and microRNA biomarkers, multi-omics analysis, and research tools relevant to astronaut health, deep-space travel, and post-viral disease.
