I have wanted to take Daniel Dauphins bit course for some time and winter is such a great time to geek out on this kind of stuff. He is not only educational, but he is ENTERTAINING and as an adult learner, I need that!
I was first drawn to him because of his background in not only horsemanship but mechanical engineering. What a combo?? I think this allows him to give such a greater understanding of how the bit effects our horses yet deliver it in a way we all can absorb.

Man O Man, I wish I did this course years ago. To see the anatomy, muscles, organs, etc… up close and personal was humbling and so much more educational than from a veterinary book. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I may have to do it again.

Enjoyed spending Saturday afternoon with the next group (a super fun & engaged group!) of students to graduate from the Bancroft School of Massage Equine program. After giving them a taste of The Masterson Method, Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork I'm hoping they may consider learning more about MM to compliment the skills/knowledge they have already built upon with the team from Bancroft. We often describe the TMJ/Tongue releases as a massage from inside the poll.
Although I realize it can be hard to imagine how? … here is a great visual and explanation of
the hyoid apparatus and where it attaches to better understand how this technique can so deeply affect the TMJ and poll.
