When I first started thinking of developing my hobby into a sideline business I attended a lecture where I heard a man say, "a photograph is the story you are trying to tell." That one statement has profoundly impacted me and constantly reminds me perfection is not what I seek when looking through the lens. That's not to say that I'm not looking for the right lighting and other variables to create
beautiful pictures, but most importantly I am looking for the perfect moment to capture your story (your memory) to be cherished -no matter how perfect or imperfect it may be. Recently as I was going through some old things from my childhood I found a box of photographs that I had taken. At that moment, I realized I have had a camera for as long as I can remember. Life has a way of taking us in many different directions before we get back to where we should have been all along. I am thankful that God has brought me back to a point in my life that I can do what I enjoy. The old saying, "if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life" is very true.
