𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝘁 - 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁

Tish VanRavenhorst has been a member of BNI Waterfront Professionals for seven years and today also serves our region as the Director Consultant supporting BNI Kitsap Business Leaders.

Tish has built much of her professional life around helping people become better leaders. Through 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀, she helps leaders and organizations strengthen communication, navigate conflict, build accountability, and turn complicated people problems into practical next steps. She's an 𝗜𝗖𝗙 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 and 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗽-𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵.

That commitment to helping people extends well beyond her business. In 2007, Tish founded 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 in South Kitsap after learning that local students were going without enough food on weekends. Community service continues to be an important part of who she is.

Tish brings that same combination of leadership and service to BNI. She knows how to ask great questions, recognize patterns, have difficult conversations, and help people find a path forward. Those are pretty valuable skills when you're supporting a chapter full of different personalities and businesses!

I really appreciate what Tish brings to our Director team and to BNI Kitsap Business Leaders. She cares deeply about people, but she also understands that helping people grow sometimes means challenging them, creating accountability, and having the conversations that move things forward. I'm grateful to have her on our team.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘂𝘀 - 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁

Mike Columbus has been a BNI Pacific Northwest member since 2017 and today also serves our region as a Director Consultant, helping members and chapters grow.

One of the things BNI has reinforced for Mike is that long-term success comes from strong relationships, consistency, and genuinely helping others. He especially enjoys helping members recognize that BNI is much more than attending a weekly meeting. As Mike puts it, it's about becoming a stakeholder in the success of the people around you.

That same philosophy carries into Mike's business. With more than 30 years in automotive sales, Mike is an 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁 at 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮/𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗣𝗹𝗲𝘅. His approach is what he calls "heart-based selling"—helping people find the right vehicle with honesty, integrity, and respect.

Mike is also the founder of 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲'𝘀 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, a nonprofit that gives a vehicle each year to someone who truly needs one. A portion of every vehicle Mike sells helps fund the program. It's a pretty great example of Mike finding a way to connect what he does for a living with giving back to his community.

I really appreciate the experience and perspective Mike brings to our Director team, but even more than that, I appreciate the way he cares about people. He wants members to succeed, he wants chapters to succeed, and he's willing to invest his own time and experience to help make that happen. I'm grateful to have him on our team.

The People Behind BNI Pacific Northwest

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗿 - 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁

Gary Zambor has been a member of the Waterfront Professionals chapter since early 2019 and brings that experience to his role as the Director Consultant supporting the Peninsula Business Partners chapter.

One of the things Gary values most about being a Director is getting to watch members grow. Whether he's helping someone become a more confident presenter, coaching chapter leaders, or celebrating a member's business success, he genuinely enjoys knowing he played a small part in helping someone move forward.

Gary will also tell you that serving as a Director has made him a better leader. He's strengthened his own communication and leadership skills, expanded his relationships throughout our region, and had the opportunity to learn from and mentor other business professionals along the way.

Family Success Northwest (FSNW) helps parents, caregivers, and professionals build stronger relationships with children and young people. Through practical training, supportive conversations, conferences, and creative tools, including our Trouble Monsters™ books, we help families understand challenging behaviors, build resilience, and develop Personal Power.
