Nashvegas bound! 🎉 Hubby and I are taking a mini work/late birthday vacation for two days! I didn’t think this would be the last time… the last hug, the last laugh, the last time I would lay eyes on you. (or get to steal a pair of grippy socks from the nurse because the heels were just not working anymore 😅)

Life really does come full circle. The moment you entered my life I was the one laying in a hospital bed. A day I can’t forget… because that was the day Bug was born… I remember thinking how unexpected it was that I was getting a brother and so close to my age and daughter, two things I’d never had, all in one day! So many afternoons and nights we talked about everything and nothing at the same time. You weren’t supposed to go first. Out of all of us kids in that crazy blended bunch, I was the oldest one. (Which is why you got a special chocolate milkshake 🤭 and surprise visit the day we took this pic.)

Deep down I know you’re no longer in pain. You’re in a better place, in better hands than we could have ever held you with. But there are so many hands down here that wish they could hold yours….

Please say a prayer for the Bobo family. I can’t imagine the immense grief they are feeling. And for those sweet babies of Dale’s. No child should have to grow up loosing a parent so young.
