Social media is not business therapy.

You know it, I know it - while it can be therapeutic, it's not the place to process our trauma.

On the flip side, audiences go wild for a vulnerable moment, and you know it's essential to build an authentic rapport with your target market.

What's an overthinker to do??

I gotchu friend - I call it The One Sock Method.

It's a framework for finding a delightfully true-to-you, highly personal, anecdote or aspect of yourself. It may not be a linear A to B for how it relates to your brand, but it's clearly essential to who you are as a human.
And it's the perfect way to share on social without trauma-dumping.

CREATING CONTENT THAT HOOKS YOUR AUDIENCE

The goal of our content marketing is to convert readers into customers, right? This means as our audience is reading our content, we need to be persuading them as they continue.

The following four methods of persuasion (thank you, Aristotle!) are necessary for persuasive argument, and all four are most certainly necessary for creating content that converts. ⚡️

1.) Logos - The use of data and facts to support your content

2.) Ethos - Establishing your credibility and expertise

3.) Pathos - Creating an emotional connection with your audience

4.) Kairos - Having a sense of timing to create the most impact
