FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Date: April 8th, 2026
Letter of Commendation:
We are pleased to formally recognize Johnnie Brooks, a valued member of Echelon Security Inc.’s Resource Team, for his outstanding performance and continued contributions within the Old Town District, one of our most challenging service environments.
Over the past several months, Mr. Brooks has consistently demonstrated professionalism, strong situational awareness, and proactive engagement while conducting patrol and resource operations—particularly regarding unsanctioned camping on and around client properties. His ability to anticipate challenges, communicate accurately, and coordinate effective responses has proven essential to maintaining operational effectiveness and client confidence in the district.
Equally noteworthy is Mr. Brooks’ approach when working with members of the houseless community. He consistently engages with compassion, patience, and understanding, and has been effective in assisting individuals who request help with relocation—whether into available shelter services or to alternative locations. His balanced approach prioritizes dignity and safety while supporting both community needs and client concerns.
A recent incident highlights this impact. While responding to a call for service from the leadership of the Lan Su Chinese Garden regarding a developing encampment near the Glisan red brick wall parking lot, the reporting party was understandably frustrated. Mr. Brooks was able to clearly communicate that Rapid Response had already been contacted and provide critical context by advising that a scheduled camp removal was anticipated within 24–48 hours. This awareness and communication reassured the client and helped prevent the perception of inaction, particularly given the limited enforcement options available on public property.
Mr. Brooks’ actions directly reflect Echelon Security Inc.’s Security Through Community philosophy. His ability to balance operational knowledge, community familiarity, client expectations, and humane engagement is exemplary. In our assessment, our ability to consistently meet client expectations in the Old Town District—especially regarding encampment activity and collaborative problemsolving—would be notably diminished without his involvement.
Based on these contributions, we strongly recommend that Johnnie Brooks be formally recognized for his service. His initiative, reliability, and professionalism have had a meaningful impact on both team performance and client satisfaction and reflect the core values of Echelon Security Inc.
Congratulations on this accomplishment and thank you for your dedicated service.
