Every beautiful natural spot that you visit is a work in progress that has taken thousands if not millions of years to shape.

Evening at the Painted Hills.

Waking up at the Painted Hills a few weeks back was an incredible experience. We had been dry camping the night before. As the sun began to shine, the early morning rays of light colors the slopes.

The colors and hills were formed over 35 million years ago by many volcanic eruptions and changing climate patterns. Layers of ash and soil mixed with mineral and plant matter, coupled with erosion, formed the hills that we see today.

Atlas🧦, was our go to sock for this adventure. Warm, comfortable and technical.
