We’re installing an Eljen drain field on a steep slope in Post Falls, Idaho.
Sites with challenging soils can sometimes require more expensive engineered septic systems, but Eljen systems can be a great alternative when site conditions allow. Their smaller footprint and treatment capabilities can help make difficult properties more workable while potentially saving homeowners money.
On steep sites like this one, careful excavation, proper grade, and accurate placement are especially important to make sure the septic system is installed correctly and performs as designed.
