The calls still need to happen.
The systems still need to be fixed.
The hard conversations still need to be had.

This conversation is about building the ability to move forward even when you’re tired, distracted, frustrated, or simply not in the mood.

We’ll talk about:

Why motivation fades quickly
How discipline creates momentum
Avoidance and the hidden cost to growth
Building habits that reduce resistance
Staying consistent when business gets difficult
Wine. Perspective. Community.

Tomorrow night at Off The Clock, we’re trying something a little different.

What does running a business have in common with flying a plane?

Takeoff. Turbulence. Course correction. Fuel management. Landing safely. Keeping control when things get chaotic.

We’re going to sit down as a group and see how far the analogy really goes — comparing entrepreneurship and business ownership to flying a plane and the different challenges that come with it.

As always, this is an open group discussion with good people, real conversation, ci**rs, drinks, and networking without the pressure.

Come join us May 28th for Off The Clock at The Racketeer Lounge.

This week’s topic: Flying Your Plane
Managing growth, pressure, and turbulence without losing control.

We’ll be using the analogy of flying a plane to break down the realities of business, leadership, stress, momentum, decision-making, and staying steady when things get chaotic. The goal is to see how many parallels we can draw between aviation and entrepreneurship — from takeoff and navigation to turbulence, fuel management, and landing safely.

As always, expect real conversation, good people, ci**rs, drinks, and a relaxed environment to connect with other entrepreneurs and business owners.

Today, Off The Clock wants to recognize and thank Austin Munda for the incredible work he put into organizing and hosting the Tubbs Hill and Lake Coeur d’Alene cleanup alongside an amazing group of community partners.

What started as an idea to give back turned into a full day of people showing up for the lake that means so much to all of us. Multiple members of Off The Clock spent the day volunteering, cleaning shoreline areas, helping coordinate efforts, supporting dive operations, and doing their part to help preserve one of the most beautiful places in Idaho.

This event brought together an incredible collaboration between Marine Rescue CDA, Visit Idaho through the Travel With Care initiative, Hagadone Marine Group, Diversified Dive Shop, and many other local businesses and volunteers who care deeply about this community.

From debris pulled from the shoreline to trash recovered underwater by dive teams, the impact was real and measurable. Seeing the Idaho Department of Transportation weighing the collected debris really put into perspective how important these efforts are.

A huge thank you as well to the businesses and sponsors who helped support the cleanup, prize giveaways, equipment, and volunteers throughout the day!

This is exactly the kind of thing Off The Clock is about — good people coming together, building relationships, and doing something meaningful for the community outside of business.

Proud of everyone who showed up and gave their time today. And especially grateful to Austin for taking the lead and making it happen.

The past happened.

What are you going to do about it?

This clip from OTC: After Hours dives into trauma, healing, personal responsibility, and the choice to keep moving forward instead of letting the past define the rest of your life.

Healing takes a choice.

Unscripted. Unfiltered. Off the clock.
