Helping women and high potential people move with confidence in their careers. Leadership. Legacy. Purpose.

One of the hardest lessons in life is realizing that strength is not always found in staying.

Sometimes strength looks like recognizing when you’ve outgrown a role, a relationship, a dynamic, or an environment that no longer allows you to thrive.

Too many women have been taught to overextend, overexplain, and tolerate things that quietly diminish them… all in the name of loyalty, professionalism, or proving they can handle it.

But growth often requires movement.
And protecting your peace is not a character flaw.

You are allowed to want more.
You are allowed to leave what no longer fits.
And you do not have to lower your standards to make other people comfortable.

Send this to yourself as a reminder.

Inside the Room was created for women navigating leadership, transition, career uncertainty, and the complicated realities of power and purpose in today’s workplace.

You can do everything “right” and still realize the room no longer fits who you’re becoming. 🤷🏾‍♀️

That doesn’t make you difficult.
It doesn’t make you ungrateful.
And it certainly doesn’t make you a failure.

Sometimes growth looks like awareness.
Awareness that your gifts have expanded…
your leadership has evolved…
and your vision can no longer shrink itself to stay comfortable for everyone else.

I’ve learned that some of the hardest seasons for high-achieving women happen when we know we’re ready for more… but we’re still trying to make old environments work.

If you’re navigating a career transition, leadership pressure, uncertainty, or trying to determine your next move with clarity and strategy, my Executive Clarity Session was created for you.

This is not motivational coaching.
It’s a private strategic sounding board for women navigating complex professional seasons.

One of the greatest blessings in my career journey has been the women who chose collaboration over competition.

The women who didn’t shrink when I walked into the room…
They made room.

I can think of one woman in particular who continuously opened doors for me throughout my career. She invited me into rooms I wasn’t even aware existed yet. She recommended me for opportunities before I had the confidence to recommend myself. She used her influence, her credibility, and her seat at the table to help position me for growth.

And what I’ll never forget is this…
She never acted threatened by my ambition.
She celebrated it.

That kind of support changes you.
It reminds you that success doesn’t have to be lonely and that powerful women can help build one another instead of competing for space.

Now, whenever I can, I try to do the same for other women coming behind me.

Because real leadership isn’t about being the only woman shining in the room…
It’s about opening the door and turning on the light for somebody else too. ✨

Send this to the woman who’s helped create opportunities for you. 🤍

And if you need support in this season, let me be that for you.

I created Inside the Room, a monthly newsletter is real talk from the C-Suite for women navigating uncertainty, transition, and leadership from the inside out. We talk honestly about:
• Power dynamics and unspoken rules
• Corporate politics without losing integrity
• Career transitions and reinvention
• Staying rooted in purpose while leading

Have you felt the shift too? 👀

At this stage in my life, I’m thinking deeply about legacy, ownership, and what it really means to build something of your own.

Because the truth is… corporate jobs are not guaranteed anymore.

No matter how accomplished you are.
No matter how many rooms you’ve sat in.
No matter how much experience you bring to the table.

And I think many of us, especially women in leadership, are being forced to ask ourselves harder questions:

Who am I outside of the corporation?
What skills do I truly own?
What knowledge can I pass on to help others go further, faster?
And if necessary… could I build something for myself?

What’s been interesting for me is realizing how important marketing and personal brand have become in this environment.

For years, my work spoke for itself.
I didn’t have to think about “building a brand.”
I was leading organizations, driving strategy, and operating inside executive rooms.

But entrepreneurship changes the conversation.

Now you have to think about:
Who are you?
What do you stand for?
What impression are you leaving behind?
How do you communicate your value clearly?
And how do you attract the right opportunities, clients, and partnerships?

The leaders who thrive in this next era will not just be intelligent…
They’ll be adaptable.
Agile.
Strategic.
Visible.
And able to communicate their value in a changing world.

That’s a big part of the work I’m building through PLL Advisory Solutions.

I recently opened a limited number of Executive Clarity Sessions… a private 30-minute strategic advisory session for women navigating leadership transitions, reinvention, career uncertainty, entrepreneurship, or high-level decision making.

This is not motivational coaching.
This is strategic clarity.

A space to think through what’s next with someone who has spent decades navigating executive leadership, corporate complexity, and high-stakes environments.

Sometimes the room that overlooked you wasn’t a reflection of your value… it was a reflection of their inability to recognize it in time.

And if you’ve ever been underestimated, passed over, excluded from the conversation, or made to feel like you had to shrink yourself to belong… I want you to know this:

Your presence was never the problem.
Your brilliance was never too much.
You were always worthy of the room.

One thing I’ve learned after decades in executive leadership is that not every door is meant to validate you. Some doors close because your next season requires a different table, a different level of alignment, and a different understanding of your worth.

Keep building.
Keep growing.
Keep preparing.
The right rooms won’t just notice you… they’ll value you properly.

And if you’re navigating career shifts, leadership challenges, office politics, or simply trying to figure out your next move in this uncertain environment, I created a FREE newsletter, Inside the Room™, for women like you.

It’s my newsletter where I share real conversations about leadership, power, strategy, career transitions, and what women truly need to navigate today’s workplace climate with clarity and confidence.

There’s something powerful that happens when Black women come together with purpose, wisdom, and a willingness to pour into one another. 🤎

Rooms shift.
Confidence grows.
Ideas expand.
And suddenly… what once felt impossible starts to feel within reach.

Being surrounded by women who understand both the weight and the brilliance we carry is a reminder that we were never meant to do this alone.

From boardrooms to businesses, from leadership to legacy… there is real power in collaboration over competition.

This room was filled with vision, excellence, strategy, and sisterhood… and that kind of energy changes lives. ✨

That's what happened at ExcelerateHer, and it's what I'm committed to keep going! 👏🏽
