Today was a powerful reminder that legacy doesn’t happen by accident — it happens by intention.

This afternoon, I had the opportunity to spend time with the Department of Commerce at a Succession Planning Roundtable, connecting with dynamic women entrepreneurs who are thinking beyond today and planning for long-term sustainability.

Succession planning is not just about retirement. It’s about:
• Protecting what you’ve built
• Preserving community wealth
• Positioning the next generation for leadership
• Ensuring businesses outlive their founders

The conversations were honest, strategic, and necessary. Too often, small businesses especially minority-owned enterprises focus on survival instead of structure. But true economic justice requires preparation, systems, and intentional transition planning.

Be ReZilient is proud to serve as the home of the FORCE Initiative (Fostering Opportunities, Resources & Commerce among Minority Enterprises) a platform designed to help small businesses strengthen operations, access data, build capacity, and prepare for long-term success.

We are excited to share that FORCE is launching its business analysis portal to begin developing intentional relationships with business owners who are ready to grow strategically. This is not just a program it’s a partnership model built to meet businesses where they are and help them move toward sustainability and generational impact.

A message from Healthsparks ✨ HealthSpark Foundation is excited to host Network and Nurture, an evening focused on uplifting small and minority-led businesses and nonprofit organizations across Montgomery County.

🤝 We’re proud to partner with Montgomery County, PA’s Department of Commerce and the Office of Sustainability, alongside mission-aligned organizations such as Zenith Wealth Partners, UnTours Foundation, Fostering Opportunities for Resources and Commerce among Minority Business Enterprise (FORCE) in Pottstown, TriCounty Community Network, and Bucks-Mont Collaborative.

🌱 Network and Nurture is an annual event held in honor of HealthSpark’s Dr. Frank E. Boston Black Justice Fund, created to connect minority-led nonprofit organizations with grant opportunities, funders, and policymakers. This year, we’re expanding our focus to include small and minority-led businesses, aligning with HealthSpark’s commitment to invest $1M in capital into Montgomery County businesses this year.

✨ Who can apply?
Pennsylvania high school seniors planning to attend an accredited Pennsylvania college or university for the 2026–2027 academic year.
✨ What’s awarded?
• 25 scholarships
• $10,000 each
• Distributed across America250PA’s six regions
✨ Where can they be used?
• Any Pennsylvania college or university
• Up to 12 awards for community college students
• Up to 13 awards for students attending four-year institutions
✨ When?
Scholarships will be awarded in 2026 for the **2026–2027 academic year.
