Love, love, loved Jennifer Rico's color combos. She used to own a painting company people. She's an artist! & she created these colors herself, on the fly, from pre-existing paints she had sitting around in her basement.

What the heck is this? No, I did not paint this room. I DID however assist in the construction of several of the items in the room, namely: the pyramid of glasses filled with ink (which is supposed to represent oil) and the 5 POUND CIGARETTE at the lower left hand corner of the table. This was back in the "good old days" when I worked for Brussels based conceptual artist Michel Francois (you should google his stuff). In addition to the wine glasses and cigarette, I also spray painted countless potato chips. So if you have that kind of painting need I'm your man.

Why does that one tarp smell so darn good? Lemme tell you a story: The adorable pooch pictured in this post is my friend Sweet Pea. YOU CANNOT WORK AT SWEET PEAS' HOUSE WITHOUT HER CONSENT! To date I have completed two medium sized jobs for Sweat Pea and her owner and I am scheduled to tackle the large exterior during the summer of 2022. During our first project, a master bed and bath repaint, Sweat Pea and I became good friends and she would often hang out while I worked. The working relationship was going swimmingly till I, turning a blind eye to Sweat Pea for but a moment, was distracted enough for the adorable fluff to go potty on a brand new tarp! Sweat Pea's owner laughed with me and insisted on washing the aforementioned tarp, which now has a delightful lavender scent. I can't wait to see Sweat Pea and her owner again this summer when we tackle the exterior.

Sometimes work can be downright simple. Simple is good! Though I have been striving as a contractor to approach challenging and somewhat "artsy fartsy" projects, I am still more than happy to tackle straight forward work typical of most painting companies.
