The Prairie du Rocher fire department would like to thank the board of trustees and the community for their support. This new addition to our fleet will help out tremendous with bluff and field fires in the future!

The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a Red Flag Warning for our area. This means that fires that develop will spread quickly. Winds out of the South at 15MPH with gusts up to 25MPH. The warning is in effect till 7PM. Please refrain from burning at this time.

The Prairie du Rocher Fire Department would like to give a Thank You out to all of our mutual aid departments along with Medstar Ambulance that responded yesterday to the bluff fire. Also, would like to give a shout out and thank you to the Monroe & Randolph County Dispatchers. Thank you again to everyone that helped out it was greatly appreciated.

Almost time for the fish fries to start come out and help support the fire department

This may change each week the price of fish has increased quite a bit since we started planning this year
