🌿 Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting | October 18, 2025

We were honored to celebrate the opening of Tobin Montessori and Darby Vassall Upper School in Cambridge, MA!
As the landscape architecture team, Traverse helped bring the outdoor spaces and playgrounds to life, designing environments where students can explore, play, and connect with nature. From age‑appropriate play areas to rain gardens, community paths, and green spaces, every detail was crafted to support learning, well-being, and sustainability.
Seeing children enjoy these spaces was the highlight of the celebration. Congratulations to Cambridge Public Schools, Perkins Eastman, and all project partners on this inspiring new campus! 🌟

🌿✨ Wrapping up Day 3 at with the Traverse team in New Orleans! We explored the beautiful City Park and went on an exciting swamp tour — unforgettable sights and inspiration all around. 🐊🌾
To top it all off, we ended the day with a brilliant session diving into AI tools in the landscape field. Mind officially blown 🤯💡 — so much to learn and bring back to our design work.
Feeling inspired, energized, and already counting down to next year’s ASLA!

Day 1 at ASLA 2025 – New Orleans 🌿
The Traverse team has officially landed in NOLA! This year, we’re thrilled to have three team members representing us at the ASLA Conference.
Today was all about diving into sessions that sparked our curiosity, connecting with fellow landscape professionals, and soaking in the vibrant streets and green spaces of this iconic city. 🌇🌳
Can’t wait to explore the EXPO tomorrow and keep the inspiration flowing. Stay tuned!

Traverse Retreat Day 3: Boots, Blueprints & Big Swings!
 Rain? No problem. Today, we started with Justin’s class on different interesting site visit’s tools and geared up and hit the Central Falls High School construction site first thing this morning — witnessing the future take shape, one beam at a time.

After the mud and steel, we swapped our gear for golf clubs at Top Golf! From serious swings to not-so-serious form, we wrapped the retreat with laughter, teamwork, and memories we won’t forget.

Grateful for the ideas, inspiration, and momentum we’re taking with us. The retreat may be over, but the drive continues!

Day 2 of the Traverse retreat and the momentum is strong!

We wrapped up yesterday’s big discussions with clear summaries and a roadmap—short-term goals defined and long-term vision in motion.

Also—belated but very important—a warm welcome to Justin from our Iowa office and Caleb, our new landscape designer! Great to have you both on board in person!

Today we showed Caleb around some of Traverse’s finished projects, followed by lunch at Track 15, the newly opened food hall in Providence where we contributed to the landscape design. So cool to see it come to life! 🌱🍴

Day 1 of the Traverse 2025 Retreat is in full swing! We kicked things off by reconnecting, sharing ideas, and coordinating across teams on key topics. We looked back at all the amazing retreats we’ve had over the years—recognizing our growth and aligning on how to make our workflows even more efficient moving forward.
Of course, it wasn’t all strategy and structure—team-building games brought out the laughs, and we wrapped up the day at the local tavern, enjoying great conversations and enjoying great conversations and further connection.

Here’s to tradition, transformation, and the road ahead!
