I got a flyer in the mail from Provo Mayor Michelle Kaufusi yesterday 10/23. I was shocked by the “arrogance” and misleading statements against her opponent Marsha Judkins. (See foto of the misleading flyer)

I had felt that Mayor Kaufusi has done a “good” job, and even a “better” job than prior Mayors. She has served two full terms.

But I am looking for and will vote for the “best” for Provo City. Why? Because we in Provo should want the “best” rather than what is good or better.

In fact Pres Dallin H. Oaks in 10/2007 gave a talk on “Good, Better, Best”: ….just because something is good is not a sufficient reason for doing it. …It is good to fulfill all of our duties. But if this is to qualify as “best,” it should be done with love and without arrogance.

The flyer I received from Mayor Kaufusi is arrogant and misleading. To see the true facts; I found them as Fact Checker www.MarshaJudkins.com.

I want better and I want the “best”. For two terms Mayor Kaufusi has done a good job. But now we need someone who is not arrogant and misleading Provo. I am voting for Marsha Judkins.

Today Saturday John Dangerfield, Provo High class of 1975 is walking in the Springville utah parade from 10-noon. He is handing out trash bags to ask everyone to clean up trash in Springville. He wants to thank everyone from Cranky Franks his company for helping him. He has a booth today at Art City Days and is grilling up his Danger hotdogs. best of luck John. You are a great classmate and friend.

Today I was honored to take this huge painting about the temple font in the baptistery to the Church Museum of Art with the painter Silvana and Joel Alvarez from Buenos Aires Argentina. In addition I took them to This is the Place Monument and in the Park there is a Governor’s Grove. The second elected Governor was John C Cutler who is my great great grandfather. It was wonderful that the State of Utah still remembers and honors him!

I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with what we can do to make her 90th birthday special considering the restrictions we are under theses days with COVID.
