Lobos Tacos and Tequila makes donation to Pueblo Diversified Industries (PDI) through Savior Profits.
Michael Colarelli and Tony Colarelli, co-owners of Lobos Tacos and Tequila, across from the CSU Pueblo Athletics fields, like many other restaurants in Pueblo continued to operate throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. While observing all of the requirements to provide safe and delicious food options, yet adhering to an abundance of safety measures, Lobos Tacos and Tequila kept the doors open and employees working to support their families. Savior Profits, a Pueblo business certified in expense reduction and profit recovery services and channel partner of Evolved Profits, evaluated, and recovered Employee Retention Tax Credits (ERTC) funds, a specific federal tax benefit to reward employers for maintaining their staff through the lockdowns, shutdowns, restrictions, and policies of the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of their successful collaboration, Mike and Tony have directed Steve Oakes, owner of Savior Profits, to donate a portion of Savior Profits’ fees to Pueblo Diversified Industries (PDI). The mission of Pueblo Diversified Industries is to create pathways of opportunity where people with diverse abilities thrive through informed choices, meaningful education and employment, premier residential services, and dynamic social experiences. The generous direction of these funds by Lobos Tacos and Tequila were shared as part of the Dancing with the Pueblo Starz! event produced by PDI, and fully demonstrate the commitment to the community shared by this Pueblo dining favorite.
