With the holiday fast approaching many families will be travelling to visit loved ones.

Here are a few tips to make sure your little ones sleep stays on track so everyone has a well rested holly jolly Christmas!

As tempting as it may be to let baby skip a nap, or let bedtime be an hour or two late. I highly recommend you resist the temptation and stick to the schedule as closely as possible.

• Changes in the routine are the quickest way to end up with an overtired cranky baby! An overtired baby can lead you back to those bad sleep habits. Multiple night wakings, early morning wakings, and a crabby child!

• If your baby is crabby, you are going to have a lousy time. Sticking to the schedule and keeping baby well-rested will assure that the time you do get to spend with friends and family is fun, happy, and relaxed.

• Bring along baby’s regular nighttime items such as a sleep sack, pillow, lovie or stuffed animal, and of course the sound machine.

Having those familiar items reminds them of their home sleeping environment will help them get to sleep in their new surroundings.

How dark is your little ones room?

Did you know by having your child’s room between an 8-10 you’ll extend naps, end those early wake ups, and help get your child to bed during those summer months when it stays light until 9pm.

Meet Madelyn 15 month old who was up multiple times per night and sometimes for hours. Her naps were very inconsistent!

After 1 night this little girl was sleeping through the night and napping independently!!

Read what her mom has to say...

Jen was absolutely amazing! She was very supportive and helped make a plan that fit our daughter and our crazy family life. Before Tiny Toes Sleep Solutions we were fighting for over an hour to get out 15 month old to sleep, then she would wake up multiple times and end up with one of us sleeping on the living room floor with her. Naps were a huge battle as well. Now she puts herself to sleep and is SO much happier (really everyone in our home is happier now)! We learned so much and the overall atmosphere of our home has shifted to a calmer place because baby is sleeping! Can't reccomended this enough, it's honestly one of the best investments we've made for our family!

The word I use most when it comes to sleep training is CONSISTENCY!

Infants and children thrive on consistency and routine. It allows them to know what’s coming next without protesting.

There’s nothing more confusing to your child than being inconsistent.

Do you have consistency in your child’s sleep routine?

11/23/2020

I get this question A LOT!

The answer yes, IF you follow the plan I give you.

I customize a sleep plan specifically for your child. When you deviate from that plan you won’t see the results you’re looking for.

If you’re ready to make a change in your family’s sleep let’s chat!
