What separates people who are thriving from people who are just surviving?

In our most recent episode, David breaks it down to one thing... safety.

Not perfection. Not having it all figured out. But getting out of fight or flight long enough to actually think.

Here’s the science... when your amygdala fires, your prefrontal cortex goes offline. You’re not thinking anymore, you’re reacting. That’s useful when a car is coming at you. It’s not useful when it’s just an email from your boss.

The people who’ve figured out safety still feel fear when it matters. But they’re not living there. And that’s the difference... they get to think, problem solve, and make decisions from a completely different plane.

It’s easy to look at leadership development as “How can I get my people to produce more?” or “How can I get the right behavior out of my leaders?”

But we look at leadership development as unlocking someone’s next level for themselves first. What’s blocking them from being authentic? What have they accepted as “normal” or “just enough”? Where are they holding back?
