If you’re building a business and raising kids at the same time... this audio is painfully accurate 😂
Remember when making plans with friends used to be:
“Want to grab lunch tomorrow?”
Now it’s:
“How does September 14th, 2027 at 2:15 PM look? I can move baseball practice, a client call, and one minor family emergency if that helps.”
The funny thing is nobody really prepares you for this stage of life.
You’re trying to:
✨ grow a business
✨ be present for your kids
✨ be a good spouse
✨ stay healthy
✨ answer emails
✨ create content
✨ remember spirit week
✨ make it to the baseball game
✨ and somehow maintain friendships
And some days it feels impossible.
One of the biggest surprises of entrepreneurship for me wasn’t learning marketing, sales, or content creation.
It was learning how to manage my time when EVERYTHING feels important.
As a business owner and mom of two boys, my calendar is basically a strategic military operation at this point 😂
But here’s what I’ve learned:
You don’t need more hours in the day.
You need better systems.
That’s why I’m so obsessed with:
• content systems
• business automations
• AI tools that actually save time
• workflows that eliminate busy work
Because every hour I can save in my business is an hour I can spend with the people who matter most.
The goal was never to build a business that owned me.
The goal was to build a business that gives me freedom.
And sometimes that freedom looks like being able to make it to a baseball game on a Tuesday afternoon.
