Some moments don’t just touch you… they transform you. Standing by the ocean, with the waves behind us and God’s presence all around, I didn’t just hear the scripture — I felt it in my soul.
When the officiant spoke, “What God has joined together, let no one tear asunder,” it was like the entire atmosphere shifted. The breeze slowed, the water softened, and it felt like heaven itself leaned in to witness what God was sealing.
Then came the words that marked the beginning of our forever:
“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
Right then, the ocean rose up behind us like it was celebrating too. The sun warmed my skin, the air wrapped around us, and every prayer, every lesson, every step of our journey aligned in perfect peace.
And when he said, “Michael, you may kiss your bride,” the crowd didn’t just cheer — they rejoiced. Their voices rose over the sound of the waves, full of joy, love, and pure celebration. It was clapping, shouting, tears, joy — all of it blending with the ocean’s rhythm.
This wasn’t just a kiss.
It was covenant.
It was covering.
It was God’s timing made visible.
And I will never forget that moment — the scripture, the ocean, the cheers, the kiss — and the way my soul knew with absolute certainty…
This is my husband. This is our forever.
