Dave and Kristen Riley, the founders of Legacy Safe, live in North Carolina and are a blended family with 5 sons and 1 daughter. Dave is a small business owner and Kristen worked in construction and technology for nearly 3 decades. Kristen
was the executor of her mother's estate when she passed in 2015. While her mom was clear with her directives and location of her will, there were documents, bills, subscriptions, and miscellaneous assets that were all in various places from filing cabinets to safety deposit boxes to desk drawers. This had Kristen thinking about ways to simplify the process for her family, especially, with adding in how much financial and medical information is now done online. The concept of Legacy Safe is one to help the everyday person, couple or family. Kristen and Dave take pride in the intuitive and user-friendly interface, as well with the reduction in paper usage, Legacy Safe is eco-friendly.
