Customer was seeing ants inside and couldnt figure out where they was coming from. You can see an active ant trail traveling up and down a crape myrtle tree near the home. That tree was providing a pathway for ants to move directly toward the structure and eventually enter around the foundation.

This is why simply treating the ants you see inside may not solve the problem.

A thorough inspection looks at:
-Where the ants are traveling
-What they're using as a pathway
-Where they're entering the structure
-What may be attracting them
-Whether there are additional colonies or entry points nearby

The goal isn't just to kill the ants you see. It's to understand why they're there in the first place.

Another day, another bald-faced hornet removal.

On the left: How they build their nest.
On the right: What’s inside the nest.

Bald-faced hornets build their paper nests layer by layer using chewed wood fibers mixed with saliva. As the colony grows throughout the season, the nest can become surprisingly large.

Once the nest is opened, you can see the multiple layers of honeycomb-like cells where the colony develops. Inside those cells are the next generation of hornets, including larvae and developing young.

What looks like a simple paper nest from the outside can actually contain a large, active colony.
This is why we recommend having stinging-insect activity inspected rather than simply treating the insects you see flying around. Finding the nest and understanding where it's located is an important part of determining the appropriate treatment.
