Agriculture, to me, is relational. It’s about connection, collaboration, joy, and taking care of the land the way our people always have.

I’m excited to bring women together, empower one another, and help each other grow as we build strong, resilient agricultural communities here in Eagle Butte. 🌱🦬

Dew

Meet the Eagle Butte Hub Manager: Dew Bad Warrior-Ganje!
Dew brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of Tribal–Federal relationships, land management systems, and policies impacting agriculture and natural resources. Her background includes national initiatives such as the U.S. Census and service with the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Dew is also an experienced project manager and network builder with more than fifteen years of experience coordinating cross-sector partnerships. She has served as Project Manager for the South Dakota Native Tourism Alliance in partnership with George Washington University, advancing Native-led tourism and agritourism efforts that connect land, culture, and economic development.

At the heart of Dew’s leadership is a belief that agriculture is relational. She centers connection, collaboration, and joy in her work, creating welcoming spaces where women feel supported, valued, and empowered to care for the land, strengthen their operations, and build resilient agricultural communities in the Eagle Butte area.

Zuya Sica Consulting welcomes the bipartisan decision by Congress to reject nearly $1 billion in proposed FY26 cuts to Tribal programs. This is good news for Tribal Nations and affirms the importance of honoring trust and treaty responsibilities.

We remain committed to supporting our Tribal clients as they protect critical funding for healthcare, infrastructure, public safety, and economic development that strengthens communities today and for future generations.

Congress released a bipartisan FY26 funding package rejecting nearly $1 billion in proposed cuts to tribal programs, preserving funding for Indian Health Service, tribal sovereignty payments, public safety, and core government services across Indian Country.

We had a great meeting with the Oglala Sioux Tribal President, Tribal Council, and tribal leadership.
These meetings used to feel stressful, but with 105I, they’ve become exciting opportunities to move real projects forward for the people.

Honored to Present at the Native American Tourism Summit

2nd Annual Native American Tourism Summit at Crazy Horse Memorial®

What an incredible experience yesterday at the 2nd Annual Native American Tourism Summit at Crazy Horse Memorial®. I was truly honored to be invited as a presenter, sharing on “Tribal Tourism and Future Ventures” and representing Zuya Sica Consulting.

We discussed how our tribal nations can lead in tourism by telling our own stories, building sustainable economies, and protecting the cultural values that make our communities so special.

A heartfelt Pilamayaye to the Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation, South Dakota Native Tourism Alliance, and all the speakers and organizers who made this event possible, from the inspiring updates shared by the Badlands National Park Conservancy to Secretary James Hagen’s reflections on statewide tourism.

And a huge thank you to Amanda for the trip to the top of Crazy Horse Mountain. I always enjoy my visits to the top and seeing the progress Caleb and his mountain team are making with the new technology. It’s inspiring to witness their dedication and innovation shaping such a powerful symbol of our Lakota Warriors. As a descendant of the Crazy Horse Tiospaye, it was deeply moving to stand in our beautiful Black Hills.

Honored to stand alongside so many leaders and relatives working to grow Native tourism for future generations. ✨
